Worked like a charm
I went to a podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. He wrote me a prescription to see an orthotic maker OR in fine print at the bottom he said if insurance would cover that go to Amazon and order these. These have nice firm support and between using these and stretching everyday, my foot feels much better. Pricier than Dr. Scholls that you cam pick up at the store, but totally worth the money.

Great support and comfort
My husband had broken a small bone on the top of his foot a while ago and had to have these inserts for the bone to heal properly. At that time we didn't realize you could purchase them elsewhere other than the Podiatrist. We were so excited to find them on Amazon for half the cost. So if your Podiatrist orders specific inserts, get all the specific information on what type/kind of insert you need and check Amazon first. Okay having said all of that...............These inserts, per my husband, instantly prevented him from experiencing foot pain. He wore them the whole time he was out of bed and they provided him with excellent foot support and helped him with pain. He had to have them all the time until the bone in his foot healed, and when that did occur the Podiatrist said he no longer needed them. However, he still continues to use them in his work shoes because he does so much walking at work. He says they give him extra support and comfort. At the end of the day his feet do not ache from all the extra walking from constantly being on this feet all day.If you have issues with achy feet you might want to give this a try.

Does the job
Prescribed by my Podiatrist and felt significant relief so purchased a set for each pair of shoes, sneakers and even my slippers.

Great support and decent durability
First, these fit into shoes well, don't slip around, provide solid support w/o feeling hard. So... that's a lot of upside. The only downside is the fabric top liner seems to delaminate quickly... meaning they're only good for maybe two months for me w/ non-athletic activity. I still use them after they start to fall apart but it's maybe another week or two before they're throw-aways.Given the quality comfort and support though, they're still worth it. Just wish they lasted maybe 50% longer.

Recommend
Dr recommended these while waiting for custom made inserts. My feet healed while I was waiting for the custom made inserts. I use these or my custom made ones in all my shoes now

These are excellent. I've been buying them for years after initially being introduced to them by a foot doctor after I tore my plantar fascia playing tennis. I wear them in my tennis shoes and they prevent the connective tissue on the bottom of my foot from over-stretching when sprinting or lunging. However, they also aren't too heavy and provide a full range of motion. No more issues since I healed years ago and wear these when I play tennis or soccer. A couple of times, I've forgotten to put them in, and I can feel the difference in terms of soreness in the area of my injury. Good preventative measure if you have a history of any related issues.

Meh...
They seem to fit okay, but are a bit hard, and I really don't see where they are doing anything.
