For 20mm Wide Beam Calipers
Per Mitutoyo's catalog this is only for their 12" / 300 mm capacity calipers, something not mentioned in the Amazon listing. I have the shorter, 75mm version depth base attachment which fits the 4" through 8" Mitutoyo calipers, and most other makes of similar dimension calipers. The Mitutoyo 12" digital caliper has a 20mm wide beam where the 4" through 8" Mitutoyo calipers, and most other makes in this size range, have a 16mm or 5/8" wide beam.
