Liked it enough to get another
I ordered one of these and liked it so well that I got another. I like the blade shape and the blade itself comes razor sharp. The thumb hold is similar to Spyderco knives and is large and enables the knife to be easily opened. The pocket clip is among the nicest that I've ever seen and attaches to the very end of the knife so that when clipped to the inside of your pocket, the knife totally disappears from view.On the down side, the handle material is very slippery and there isn't much jimping for traction on the spine either. This knife does a very good job of precise cutting and serves nicely as a "gentleman's knife" but it lacks enough traction to be considered as a defensive tool or for any hard cutting job that requires a sure grip.Long story short - it's sharp, its attractive, and it carries easily for handy use for common cutting tasks. But, it doesn't have enough traction to grip it surely enough for heavy duty cutting or defensive use.

Either it was poorly handled by the seller and/or the fine craftsman that hand finished it had a hangover
The packing was minimal. The box was open...I assume it was smashed during shipping. The top of the blade has Knicks on it that catch on your fingernail and there is an unfinished grind line towards the tip that is visible and catches your nail. Either it was poorly handled by the seller and/or the fine craftsman that hand finished it had a hangover. I still like the knife and will perfectly it myself. But I will never buy from Rocky mountain llc again..almost a month later....this knife is a frustrating hunk of poo!!!blade constantly runs off center and rubs on the liner. the basic line seems really nice but my tactility is borderline garbage

Gentlemen Knife
This is my 6th MCUSTA blade and it's awesome! Very sharp out of the box, good sturdy clip, nice smooth handles, liner lock secure and easy to slide over without resistance. Why a 4 star.... not for tactical purpose. EDC great, but the blade takes some effort to open. I tried to loosen the screw, but the blade still very stiff to release. I added gun oil and still no avail. So in an actual knife draw for self defense, this knife is NOT practical. I noticed the MCUSTA knives without the clip comes out easier. In any case 5 stars for an EDC knife, 4 stars for a tactical knife. Buy one anyway... it is worth the money!

Incredible knife at $120!!!
High quality knife! Easily as nice as any of my Microtechs or Benchmades. Butter smooth action with absolutely zero play in the play. Sharp as freaking hell from factory!!!

Picture should be updated.
Great knife, very sharp. The knife is not as pictured however. It has the new MCUSTA logo and not the one pictured unfortunately (thus the 4 stars and not five). Picture should be updated because its misleading. The old logo with the "M" being cut into the blade was much nicer than the new one which is etched. Still a great knife though.
