LEGO Batman: Visual Dictionary (LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes)

He will sit and look at it and read it for hours. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it!Update 2016: My son read this book until it fell apart. I taped it and glued it back together. It is not the binding or the quality of the book that made it fall apart. It was my son. He wore this book out. And it got to a point where I could not fix it any longer. So now I am looking to buy him another one. Wish I would have taken pics of it before I had thrown it out. Actually I wish I had kept it to show him how much he trashed it while looking through it. But it is a thick book and he read everything. He is not a reader, but this book he read a lot. All of it. Perhaps if you have a lego fanatic, Any of these Lego visual dictionaries would be a great tool. There are enough pictures to engage the reader and there are plenty of words. His teacher was glad he was reading. He felt proud he was reading a thick book, and it is really thick and heavy. I was glad he would put down the video games to read this book. However it correlates to the Lego Batman video games too, and my son would get excited to try the game out and see if he could get to a level that was talked about in the book. But since he doesn't get to play the games often he hasn't gotten very far. If I had just let him play nonstop, he would have the game finished four times by now. It also was neat to see other lego sets that we could research that were older and no longer sold in stores. There are some crazy expensive lego sets out there! I still highly recommend this book and since book stores charge $15 for a children's picture book with only 32 pages, paying $15 for this book is well worth it! Even a second time! ;)

This book is great for anyone into LEGO, DC Comics, Batman, or collectors. The whole family has read this book and I often find it in my daughter's posession. The pictures are very high quality, and with short captions and LEGO facts throughout. Also included is the exclusive "Electro Suit" Batman minifigure. I keep him safely stored in the book when he's not out with the other LEGO collection on display. The quality and printing detail is really good, and you need this guy to complete your collection. I highly recommend this book and Amazon has amazing prices. I paid only about twelve dollars for this book and MSRP is twenty two. It also arrived at my door in only three days!

My grandson loves this book. Takes every where with him

My son is OBSESSED with Batman and we purchased this for him for his Birthday. Very detailed, shows every Lego set ever made for Batman and even the year they were released. Not an easy read for a kid though, so you may have to sit down with them and read it to them. Also, little fingers tend to turn pages quickly and we had a few pages rip on us because of that. And added bonus, it comes with a Lego Batman figure. Hours of entertainment.

My son loves two things: Super Heroes and Legos, so this book was a great find "from Santa." There seems to be a lot of detail here for the hard core Lego fan and kids alike - my son loves to have me read him this at night instead of your more traditional story book. There are also some comic book style stories throughout which he loves. He is also a fan of the Lego video games and the included mini-fig ties into the game.

We have several of the DK Lego books and all are great. The batman one is no exception. Excellent photos and details about the various sets and figures. At 95 pages long it isn't lengthy but the pages are large and the illustrations detailed and brightly colored. There is a considerable amount of verbiage on each page too so if you have a young reader rest assured they aren't just getting a picture book. My 8 year old has spent at least a half hour per day with this book since getting it over two weeks ago and often longer than that. Yes it is late September and his christmas list is done and on the fridge, filled with about half the sets in this book. I'm ok with that because I know he is actually reading it as well, as I have now heard every small factoid about every set since made since 2006.If you have a young person who likes Legos than you cannot go wrong with these books. All of ours have stood the test of time and Amazon usually has them priced extremely well.

My 5-yr old son loves flipping through the pages of this beautiful book! He is a huge Batman/Lego fan so this book was a great find for him. He enjoys looking at the bright colors on the pages as well as the different characters and kits Lego has released so far. It is a good source of inspiration for his Lego building and it's also just a great down-time book. He will sit quietly admiring the pictures and the short stories. Great for a budding reader or for a Batman/Lego fan.

If you have a Lego and Batman fan in your house, buy this book now! The minifigre is super cute of Batman's electric suit and the contents of the book are outstanding. The book features very detailed pictures of all the sets and figures since 2006 to present. There is also cross section pictures of the vehicles so young builders might be able to get some ideas on the building process. Plus there is a huge comic book style story in the middle with fantastic photos of the figures and scenes. The pictures are outstanding and so clear and detailed. There is also a section on how the video game was made. Basically anything related to Lego Batman is in this book. I cannot wait to give it as a gift!!!!!

La verdad está un poquito elevado el precio pero vale la pena. Es una figura exclusiva que vale la pena tener.

Ottimo libro per gli amanti del cavaliere oscuro, ma ovviamente anche per gli amanti dei LEGO.Qui raccolti tutti i primi modelli che si sono interessati alle avventure del cavaliere oscuro, quindi una raccolta di perle , recensita una ad una.come sempre copertina rigida e una qualita sopra la media da parte di questa casa editrice , e come sempre allegata la minifig da collezione.

Das Buch ist sehr schön.Leider auf Englisch, aber man kann es den Kindern ja übersetzen.Das Buch an sich ist sehr leicht vom Gewicht her und die Bilder und Texte sind schön gemacht.Dann gibt es auch noch einige Comics zum Lesen.Es werden alle Figuren aus der Lego Batman Welt erklärt und sogar das neue Batman 2 Lego Spiel kommt vor.Merkmale:- alle Figuren werden erklärt und die dazu gehörigen Fahrzeuge- Comics vorhanden- Computerspiele werden auch erklärt ( Batman 1 und Batman 2)- eine Figur von Batman aus dem Batman 2 Computerspiel ist dabeiAlso ein schönes Buch was man sich gerne mit den Kindern anschaut.
