Glacier Ridge Farms Smoked Gouda Gourmet Spreadable Cheese 8oz (One Cup)

I love this cheese spread. Have ordered it several times.

Very good with a light cracker. I like it chilled in the refrigerator.

Though extremely pricey at $26.00 a pound!, I can't get enough of this smoked Gouda - it's absolutely fabulous! Having said that, on a few occasions I've noticed moderately sized air pockets in the middle of the cheese, which is always disappointing since that air displaces cheese I could be eating. I'm still giving it 5 stars though, as the taste is incredible. Hopefully the company will review its manufacturing/QC processes and reduce or eliminate these air pockets altogether.

To start with, I should have read the description better. I assumed this was just Gouda but when I received the product, I saw under "Ingredients" "Gouda and Cheddar Cheese". This was stated in the description but I failed to read everything....my bad. Despite that, I do like the flavor although it is a bit mild (I have had actual Smoked Gouda from Norway which was absolutely divine and not available anywhere is the US that I could find) but I did not find this Gouda at all salty which I have seen some people mention but that might also be a matter of taste or perhaps a difference in production. I would buy this again since it is great on crackers. Buy some and Bon Appetit!

Well worth the price. It is delicious. Easy to spread, smooth, and mild.

Very good smoked flavor...

The reports are nonsense; this is a yellow goo with no "smoked gouda" taste. The name is simply a marketing and sales invention.; It should not be carried by Amazon or anyone else. The nutrition label was covered over by another one and could not be separated or read; it is probably illegal.
