Numb Paperback – July 20, 2013

After years of mostly reading non-fiction, this book made me love fiction again. I was enthralled by this story’s themes of power, trust, revenge and love. The main character, Adam, is a man struggling with the very real conflict between the daily indignities of working in corporate America and maintaining a sense that one’s life has real purpose. We are all motivated by good and evil. In the end, which one will serve us better? How satisfying is revenge? What is true power? How does our subconscious affect our reality? Can we ever really trust another? Is love a strength or weakness? Adam is unable to resolve these conflicts and their ultimate battle warns us of the need to answer these questions in our own lives. This book tackles life’s questions, and at the same time, is relentlessly entertaining.

This book is even better the second read on my Kindle! The main characters nail biting intense situations keeps you wanting more! The story is so well written it gives the main charater depth in a "mistily" way. I have not only recommended the book on download to my friends, but also felt so strongly on the qualilty of the story I wrote this review..  Numb

The story is unfortunately too relatable to some of the news stories where you hear about people snapping. The main character sounds like someone you could work with. The book is a bit repetitive but has an interesting ending that had me happy I read it and hoping for more.

This book was one of those books that will keep you up all night. Kept my interest the whole way through without being able to put it down! I love how the author relates the problems of the main character to real world situations. A majority of people in Corporate America could probably relate very closely to this story, despite the fact it is a fiction work. Definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a book to read over the summer.

I hadn't read anything by this author but I was presently surprised. This book was a thriller with a main character that was very believable and real. In today's world of corporate greed it is easy to identify with the torment of the story's protagonist. Overall it was a quick and easy read hard to put down.

Fantastic book that had me excited and anxious to turn each page. Many people will relate to the main character enough that they will place themselves deep into the mystery. The author's great detail and understanding will have me picking this book up again.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this edge of my seat thriller. I could not seem to put it down. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to immerse themselves in a book with a complex main character.

I think we all know someone in the workplace or in school that could be this main character! This book is very relatable and almost hard to put down from the suspense of waiting to see how the story ends....I've recommended this book to many of my classmates.
