Five stars every time for the album. One of my favourites of all time. HOWEVER vinyl buyers note that this edition OMITS the poster and scrapbook - it includes lyric book only (and there is a label to this effect to be fair). But this only became apparent on receipt. If you want a faithful replication of the album as originally issued, as I do, you need to look for the issue dated 14 April 2017, ASIN code B06XCPMR2W.Update - everything is as it should be with the 2017 edition as above and included is a download card should you want one. Great sounding vinyl and outstandingly packaged. A real treat for the senses.

It's always been a toss up between this and Goodbye the Yellow Brick Rd for me.Let's call that his best double album.This is his best single album: the title track a Taupin/John benchmark.This also a great pressing, silent running. Well worth having on vinyl.

Melhor Álbum do Elton John!!!

Captain Fantastic was the very first LP that I bought with my very own money. All I knew was that the cool kids were buying Elton John records, and this album had a great artwork on the cover. I played the heck out of it, and then forgot about it a few years later.Fast forward to 2019: After seeing the Rocketman movie, I am an Elton John fan again.Every song on this record is well-worth a listen.This is pressing was done in Germany.
