This is a flimsy plastic toy that is incapable of making even casual drawings. Save your money it is worthless!

Could be a child's toy
Could be a child's toy, but it's not sturdy enough for that. Too flimsy.If you are very careful, you can hold the sliding ruler within 1° of parallel.If you're not careful, it'll go 4° out. It all depends on what you want out ofyour drawing. You'll do better with the two triangle method of drafting.

It’s exactly what I wanted
4 stars as I dropped the angle on the kitchen ceramic floor and a piece broke off.So be careful with the glass like plastic. It replaced my win95 computer program easy-forms maker that I loved. Unfortunately Oracle corel draw bought it and turned it into a monthly subscription. Back to basics for me as I am a doit yourselfer.

It's a toy, not a professional instrument
The main rule sliding across the board does not have a straight angle. Had to create an uquivalent scale on the opposite side. Drafting square does not plot a correct angle, few degrees deviation, as compared to a set angle. More of a child's toy than a professional tool. If quality of the product was known prior to purchase, would not have bought it in the first place.
