Awesome dual charcoal and flat top
This thing is great. Very easy to put together and made of nice strong metal. Got to use the flat top today and it is great. Nice even heat distribution and level. Charcoal side you would want to use on a calm day as there is no cover. Really quality materials. One other note, the side table, not really worth putting it on, the propane connection runs right above it makes the table almost useless. Just leave it off.

Worth the money I would definitely buy again
This grill is perfect and a great price for 2 in 1. It was extremely easy to assemble, and it was definitely a perk that they include the hose to accept a 20 lb tank. I like how the grill has adjustable Heights for the the heat. I only wish that the griddle portion of the unit got hotter.

Came in damaged with no box damage
Griddle side caved in, two wheeled legs of the same side. Quality control should have checked it as there was no damage to box, and a blind man would have known the legs were of the same side. Had it all out of the box and the box cut up before I saw. When assembling it was set on table upside down to put legs on. Did not see damage until I turned it over, too late then. Fixed it the best I could and went on. Please examine closely before proceeding as I learned the hard way.

I've had my Blackstone charcoal grill/griddle combo for almost a full year now and have enjoyed using it very much. The heat is much easier to control with the griddle vs. my old conventional gas grill. This allows me to cook burgers, steaks, chicken, etc. to the desired doneness and there's no worries with grease fire flareups when juices drip onto the burner as with the grill. I've used the charcoal grill only a few times but it works fine and has two height settings for the grate so that food can be cooked slower or faster. It also has an easy slide out drawer for the ashes to be removed and disposed of. When I recently needed to change 20 lb gas bottles the griddle was no longer getting gas to the burner. I assumed that the regulator was bad since the new bottle worked fine on an older grill I have and a turkey fryer that I used recently. I called Blackstone after seeing on the replacement part notes that sometimes the bulk adapter hose going from the regulator to the bottle needed to be reset. The customer service rep guided me through the procedure but still not gas to the grill and since a 1 lb bottle connected directly to the regulator works fine I assumed it had to be an issue with the hose. The customer service rep also informed me that the bulk hose is not included with this model grill and suggested that, since I purchased through Amazon that they must have added and aftermarket hose with their deal. She also stated that they've had a number of calls about the bulk hoses and I will be purchasing a new hose directly from Blackstone. The new hose costs just around $30.

Easy to set up and cooks great.
Loved how easy it was to set up and the portability. Only cooked on the gas side so far and were happy with the cooking surface and ease of cleanup.

Love this grill.
I cook steak every night. Took a little to adjust to but saves on charcoal because it does not take much. Two steak limit on this little grill if you want to cook even and at the right temp. Phillies are awesome on the griddle.

It's a good concept but not ideal.
The likes.. the combo is perfect for me, I like charcoal better than gas to cook on and my pellet grill doesn't always fit the bill. Easy to move around and to take the cooktop off if needed.Dislikes, first no good option for adding a lid, it would be a nice feature. The gas valve for the griddle is placed awkward in the front side, it would be better in the back or below the removable shelf, the shelf slides off but doesn't fold. The worse feature is the legs do not fold so it's not easy to haul especially for camping, having a 5th wheel camper I can't load in my truck bed. It's fine for just at my house but it's not very big for more than a family of 4. The griddle is just big enough for 1lb of bacon, grill side is 6ish burgers so the concept of mobility is better than the application, fold the legs and make it more mobile and it would be perfect.
