The E Z to see and talk Blue button allows you to hear the time in a clear female voice. The alarm repeats the time in a Clear Voice and has a beeping sound. It also offers optional hourly time announcements or at the touch of a button, with a high and low volume control. This product has two modes a 12H hour mode and a 24H hour mode. When you set it on the 12H hour mode it will say AM or PM. The 24H hour mode is military time. Uses 2 AA batteries not included. Size 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/2"
