I didn't know these products existed! I always shave the beard growth on my cheeks and neck and then trim the rest every so often. I had always worried that I was not shaving my cheeks and neck in an even fashion, and sometimes my beard would be out of symmetry. This tool has solved all these problems, as well as sped up the process of shaving! This is a Godsend for me, as someone who has to shave everyday (I get 1 o'clock shadow instead of a 5 o'clock one). Regarding the product itself I was very impressed with the packaging it came in (this would make a great gift) and the quality of the tool itself. The design looks far better than the other competitors out there and seems more thought out. I could see this tool being useful in a vast variety of situations, depending on your beard style. I can't recommend this product highly enough. For the quality, price, and time this has saved me, I give it 5+ stars!

Easy to use and makes those lines clean.

The shaping tool arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I used the curve shape for my beard and found it easy to use. It helped me get the right line for my beard. The only thing I have a problem with is the goatee part. The way the tool is designed, the curve for the goatee is good but the tool actually covers the part of your face you need to shave. The tool has a concave curve for the goatee and it needs to be convex. So, if you have or want a goatee this tool will not help, but for a curve or step beard, it is useful and a well made tool.

I had another similar product before, can't recall who made it, but the angles on that one were better designed, and also the built in comb on this is not useful, and it would be more pleasant to hold if it was solid plastic there instead of the teeth. That said, this is exactly as described and the price was within an acceptable range.

I am beginning to quite like this tool. Initially I was hesitant after receipt of this template, BECAUSE this is my very first venture into using any of many facial hair trimming templates currently available. HOWEVER - like anything one (especially I) try out for the 1st time, there is a learning curve. I feel the manufacturers, Monster & Son are sincere and genuine in providing a near perfect facial hair shaping tool; this shows in the packaging presentation, together with 2 pamphlets included, of which one has 8 diagrammatic illustrations of how and where on your face to use every side of this piece of men's grooming kit. They further offer a FREE downloadable "Beard and Skin Care E-Book", which I have yet to download. I intend doing such today from the library, as I do not have sufficient technology at home to do so. The only reason I gave 4 (vs 5) stars for "Easy To Use" & "Giftable" categories, is that most people will likely require TIME & PRACTICE to use this template successfully. Perhaps if others download the FREE E-Book upon arrival of this product, they may learn faster than I have, and be on their way immediately. THAT may be possible. But my overall rating + Value for Money = 5 stars, because of my feeling that the manufactures are genuine & sincere in offering this product. They are a small business venture; and thus their professional presentation renders this a 5 star rating in those 2x categories by me - based on the many facial hair templates which have become available. I wish Monster & Son all the success in their business future!!

I like that it has more than one angle. It is big enough, but not too heavy to work with. It is a good sturdy plastic so I feel like it will last a long time.

I was out of town when product arrived, couldn't return the broken item because it was past the return time. When I finally got it. The teeth in the item was broken. I'm a lost of money and product

The curves are awkward to use under the neck line and the step cuts aren’t long enough and difficult to line up. Regret buying
