Something worth investigating in
Overall, it’s a pretty great product. I do wish the connection between the Mobile App and the device occurred via Bluetooth instead of the makeshift tether via the products “internal Wi-Fi” — As advancing, the connection can, Quite often, prove Time-consuming, endlessly challenging and unnecessarily cumbersome. That aside, I do use this product nearly every day. It holds up to its value, but you will have to clean the head of the printer quite frequently — since fading often occurs faster than normal home or office stamps and printers. Overall, I’ll give it a 5 start review.

handy little label printer
I got this just to see what it can do, and when I got it working, it indeed does everything advertised. Well, almost. I can't get it to connect to my phone. I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra, and it will not connect. The colop e-mark makes the beep, but it doesn't connect. I was only able to connect it to my desktop computer. Here's another problem though, the firmware that it ships with won't connect via USB to your computer, so you first have to connect via wifi and then update the firmware. Once you do that, then you can connect via USB. Once I did that, then I could use it on my computer. I made labels and tried to print them, and the prints came out faded, or missing some colors, just wasn't working right. I was finally able to print after applying about 20lb of force while swiping it across the page. I read a few reviews online, they didn't mention having to apply force. I then took it apart, remove the print cartridge and put it back in, and this time it worked without dropping out any colors or needing to apply force. I guess the positioning of the print cartridge was a bit off. I still am not able to connect it to my phone, so it only gets 4 stars for that. But, it does the numbering, dating, etc, and it has some neat software (that has a bug where you tell it to create a 3" piece and it promptly forgets that, until you go into the properties of the imprint and set it manually). Overall I think I'd get little use out of this, as I don't mail things often, though I do like to mark my bills as "paid on x/y/z". It uses TI Mysimplelink to manage the wifi, which seems to have issues. I'm confident a software update in the future can handle it, but if you need this to work with your android phone, it's a don't buy. Iphones may have better luck, idk. For a desktop computer, it works just fine.

Not perfect but pretty close
This printer is not really tiny but is small enough to fit in a purse or briefcase. It was not difficult to pair with my tablet. I spent some time playing with the app before actually printing. If you want to print address labels, notes or just about anything, this is easy to use. I will try printing on fabric and using a fabric medium to make it permanent and washable. If it works, I will update the review. Overall, it is an expensive gadget, but handy because it does not need paper, only ink. I also got the case for portability.

Impossible to use, print quality terrible

Appalling interface, serious limitations
This device can apparently be made to do some clever things. But you might just find that life is too short to figure out how to do them.It comes, as is the modern fashion, without a manual--you have to go online to see that. But the online manual is pretty hopeless, too, and that's a problem--the app's functionality is highly modal, with functions hidden in places you'd never think to look. You'd think, for example, that some of the simple things would be easy to figure out--how, perhaps, to put in your return address, and then save it so that it's always available. Good luck. It took me hours to accomplish this, and I still have trouble tapping the unit in just the right way to get it to print the right mark.Part of the problem is a feature so silly and annoying that they warn you about it when you first sign on--the e-Mark sets up its own little wifi network. That sounds clever until you realize that it means that your iPhone or tablet can't be using wifi for anything else, including automatically joining your home network. So in order to really connect with the device, you first have to disable automatic joining, and then disconnect from your home network, and then reattempt to join the little i-Mark network. How stupid is that? If you ignore the problem, the unit sorta kinda works anyway. But you'll be reminded frequently that not all is well.My own biggest disappointment is finding out that the unit cannot do proper time stamps. You can design a time stamp, but it will forever stamp your documents with the time you created the imprint, not the time you marked the paper. To get it to print the current time, you have to edit the imprint. So, don't be deceived by the software's apparent ability to do time stamps--it doesn't really work. When you do get an imprint working, it can be pretty cool, especially as you can print in more than one color. I'm sure I'll find uses for the device, at least for a while. But it's not the useful object I thought I was buying--it's more of an annoying toy.

Unimpressed
I read the reviews and was hesitant to purchase, but I did. Took over a day to get the ink to push through correctly before the pic finally printed correctly. The light went out while sitting in its charger. It never came back on. 2 days of use and 45 days later is died and became a brick. Amazon only covers for 30 days. This needs a LONGER warranty and more time on the drawing board. Wait until its improved and has better coverage

The future is here!!
Wow, this printer is a GREAT invention.. Now I can print on anything and I am no longer limited to a piece of paper. It is also portable so you are not forced to stay where your printer is to print something..Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
