Corner protection
They weren't clear in color. They don't look good.

They did not end up staying on the corners of my range hood, stayed on for maybe and month, then fell off. I noticed they did not stick very good from the start. Also, the guards have a white sticker on the inside, and you can see this white sticker through the guard. These guards were quite an eye sore, on my slate colored range hood. Probably would be fine on a light colored hood.

Not as translucent as hoping for
They are not as translucent as I was hoping but do the trick in protecting your head from hitting corner of range hood

These are small plastic that are better than nothing, but the pic is misleading.

Do Not stay stuck on
I specifically searched for stove hood guards (to withstand heat) because of complaints of other’s not sticking or staying stuck. These didn’t even stay stuck for one day...
