Work smart not hard
This paint is amazing. It's got a low odour and touch dries pretty quick. Throughly stir it and apply a thin coat first. The second coat went on so easily with great coverage, I used a roller for that extra smooth finish. The finish is amazing. Stains come off easily with a wipe with a damp cloth. Very easy to clean your roller/brush. As a first time user I would highly recommend this paint. Also make sure your ready delivery is quick, thanks.

Good cupboard paint
Used to upcycle some really outdated old wardrobes. Applied well, did need to do a couple of coats.Good colour, dried quickly and have been able to wipe it down easily without issues.

A tin to transform your cabinets
This paint is perfect if you want to "modernise" your kitchen cabinets without the huge expense. As you can see these are original 1980s cabinets and are heavily worn. I lightly sanded the cabinets and prepared best I could but working inside a flat left me limitedSimply put I didn't have the expenses for a complete kitchen overhaul and this paint offered a good option to at least tidy it up and give it a fresh colour/coat.I found it very easy to apply and it spreads nicely, it also dries quite fast and once cured it leaves a lovely white finish. With a few coats the cabinets really do look fantastic and for the value of this tin, you'd almost think it's been fully refurbished. It'll never replace actually changing the cabinets due to wear, painting environment and overall finish but my word, for £15 it will completely amend the cabinets appearance and add some modern handles, it's a very cheap way to enhance your cabinets. It can literally save you hundreds/thousands compared to a professional job and let's face it, who doesn't need the extra savings?Highly recommend

Pretty good coverage, looks great
I purchased this paint for my kitchen door renovation, despite it stating that no undercoat is required, I still used undercoat. To obtain a nice finish, I used two coats as this got an acceptable finish using a good quality brush. The tin does appear to be rather small, but it is as stated 750ml. the paint is quite thick but covers quite well, I will have to wait and see whether there will be enough for my 9 doors and 4 draws - but as its well priced, buying another tin will not be an issue. So far, I am pleased with the end result, I will have to wait and see how the durability is though.

Brilliant
First time painting kitchen cupboards. As you can see from both photos. The pale yellow was before the white paint. At the moment it has taken five coats (using a mini roller) it will need at least another two. The paint goes along way, just about approaching the half way point and that has painted (outside only, not inside) Ten cupboards and five drawers.Even though the paint is white , it looks cream when dried, is that because off the paint or I am painting over a pale yellow? In my opinion if you are painting over some thing much darker in colour, it will use alot more coats off paint or use some kind off primer. The paint is not glossy, matt. If food gets splattered on the cupboards, I am not sure if it will be wipe able, so maybe best to keep any left over paint.I never removed the cupboards, just painted them and the paint has not dripped. It is a really good smooth paint with little smell. I would really recommend.

Fabulous; would recommend
I used "antique cream" on kitchen cupboard doors, which had been a white-ish colour to start with. So far have only done one coat, but might do another. I will see how it settles. I have used half a 750ml tin and painted 11 standard-size kitchen cupboard doors. The paint goes on really easily, but the longer you use it the thicker it seems to be to spread, but still good. I put it on thinly because any runs are very unforgiving and really stand out. It took me a couple of hours, it does not smell, and dries really quickly. I am really pleased with the result. I always find Johnstone's paint good, and would definitely recommend this

Best quality paint, money well spent
The media could not be loaded. I bought it when it was only £14.40 sale price. Our kitchen needed a lot of work and i have been lazy all these years and we didn't have a large some of money to install new cabinets in the kitchen.I was looking for ways to find a way on YouTube when I found videos how people remove the vinyl from cupboard, I never thought it will be so easy with heat gun as I always thought i will have to use a knife or a scraper to remove it.Anyway, you can see how it transformed my old kitchen and everyone is amazed when I tell them I done it under £30 ( 2 tins only).I did not do 3 coats as some suggest, only one and some places 2 coats.I bought a degreaser to clean the oil and dried well before painting., I only painted outside the cabinets as inside is not visible. The paint is very runny so I used a small painting brush for the corner as well as a mini roller .Keep something underneath like a tray as it drips a lot when you are painting so you don't have to clean this paint from the surface, you can use it if it drips in the tray

Water based kitchen unit paint
Easy to apply just give the units a light sand then apply with a roller and brush. I painted my units a year ago with two coats and they look pretty good. The only downside is where there are handles the paint does come off needing to be touched up but as it's water based probably par for the course..
