Good but no disk drive

background info.........
I bought this pc about 2 months ago ( pretty sure as a 'new' item) and today bought an HP Printer to go with it.On setting up the printer I had trouble 'scanning' and had to resort to phoning for tech support to rectify the problem. I was told that many files had been already corrupted and was burned for £150 to have it remotely repaired!Beware of HP or more likely the dodgy seller I bought it through.
