Amazon Basics Stand Mixer

I had been looking at stand mixers for a while but as I had never had one I couldn’t justify buying kenwood or kitchen aid as I wasn’t sure how much I would actually use it, I had also seen a few other much cheaper ones but they had very mixed reviews.Whilst shopping on Amazon it came up with an advert for this mixer it was a really good price but again seemed to have very mixed reviews, as the price was good I decided to get it as I knew if I had any problems I could just contact customer service as they have always been good with issues I have had before.I have to say the mixer is brilliant I mostly use it to make bread dough and the motor has never had any issues, the suction cups on the bottom hold it in place without any movement. It is very easy to keep clean and does what I want from it with no issues.I would definitely recommend this as a first mixer as I am still very happy with it.

This mixer is amazing. I have had this for just over a year now and I use it for baking. Butter creams and cake mixes in huge batches. It is a little on the loud side but its amazing and at a really good price. Definitely the best for beginners. I hardly leave reviews but after a year of using this mixer I am giving it a 10/10. Very easy to clean, use and store away.

Not very sturdy compared to more expensive options but for this price its a bargain. Its amazon basics after all. I use it every day, so far no problems. Very good for doughs and meringues. Would recommend

Great mixer, was worried as it was cheaper than most but it's great quality at low price. So far I have used it for buttercream, meringue and cake batter, nothing too thick or heavy as ive had others burn out when doing dough so ill avoid doing that in the machine.

The product us good to use at home but not for pro cooking. if you use this to make some bread or cake that would be perfect for a small production lets say cooking 3 to 4 time a week but not for several time a day. the stand mixer will breakdown If you do so. over all its a good quality product and easy to use

I needed a stand mixer for making marshmallows. This was reasonably priced compared to some alternatives. I have just used it for the first time and it is easy to operate and clean. The marshmallows were fab. ADDITION: Still using this after several months and the marshmallows are still as good. Also great for mixing cakes.

I found the mixer very sturdy and impressive for the price paid. I used it for making dough without any problem at all, but as soon as I used the mixing attachments for a cake I discovered that they left more ingredients unmixed in the base of the bowl than they actually mixed. I notice a few folk have mentioned this in their reviews now, but so many more are delighted with it, so maybe I was just unlucky. Mine was returned on Day One, but if they fixed that problem I'd happily purchase it again.

The item arrived lovely but the lid is broken n in 2 pieces. Would be perfect if they can replace just the lid n I didn't need to return.
