It is durable on carpet. It is inly 1/4" thick so I would say it does not feel exactly like a gym floor

It could, depending on the style of dance. Know that the non-slip will not allow for spinning like in ballet or breakdancing. It also won't allow for sliding.

If I remember correctly it’s made in USA and has a lifetime guarantee I purchased for my daughter and her family
