MEASUREMAN 2" Steel Gas Pressure Test Gauge Assembly, 3/4" FNPT Connection, 0-30 psi/kpa, +/-3-2-3% Accuracy

I bought this pressure gauge to pressure test a new gas line to my garage. It worked perfectly and did not lose any pressure during the 3 hours of testing.

Did exactly what I wanted

We installed a new gas line and needed to pressure test it before closing the walls.I needed a 3/4 to 1/2" brass pipe adaptor to attach to the system.Also best using a cordless tire inflator. Set the target pressure and let it alone. We left it over night, no leaks. Local code requires 15psi for 30 minutes. Some codes also stipulate the test pressure be 50% of the range of the gauge. You can swap out the gauge or buy 2 of these and change a gauge, or buy another with a different range.Happy with my purchase. Not sure how impact resistant thr gauge is so don't toss it in your tool box. Mine lives in a case protected from the dangers of day to day work.

I was holding the psi gauge in my hand when I was closing a door and the vibration from closing the door with the device in my hand caused the back plate with the pressure readings to severely deform. It bent inwards causing the back plate to inhibit the needle from moving past 12 psi. I believe it still operated for my purposes but I now question the reliability/accuracy of the gauge.

Worked great and will keep for future use. Threaded nicely and even came with some teflon tape. A great product I can use multiple times

Needed to pressure test a system, had a very slow leak, and considered the possibility of the Guage as being the leak... so I capped it and ran a test for 24h, it didn't leak at all. So the gauge is excellent. I later found the culprit of my slow leak, which once resolved was then verified after another 24h.

Really badly assemble the purge valve is leaking and is stuck There i can't fix IT at all

Thought these work great just wish they made them 1/2” so I didn’t need an adapter
