There is no other scent like Steampunk.
This is my second tub of this stuff. I also had the aftershave, that'll really turn ladies' heads in a good way, but the aftershave has menthol in it, just be aware. As to this soap, really more of a croap, the smell is fantastic. Sometimes I'll just open up the tub and smell it, I like it that much. Don't judge, ...It goes a long, long, loooong, way. I've used it with and without a brush. I wish I could describe the scent, but the profile that's been written about it does it a bit of justice. The leather-bound books in a library comment is what got me, because I love that smell. No, it's not cheap, but if you use it right, it will last, my last tub lasted 3 years and would have lasted more had I not lost it on a trip.

Great Soap!
Great customer service from small flower. Order arrived in a timely manner with no issues.I had a difficult time dialing in the soap to water ratio with this soap. This is why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The lather started off rather airy and soupy which usually indicates it needs more product, but in this case actually meant it needed more water. Hope this helps people having trouble finding the sweet spot.This soap is definitely worth taking the time to find the sweet spot. I got an extremely close shave. And post shave face feel is so good I could get away without any post shave balm, or splash.

So what does "Steam Punk" soap smell like? It's subtle, not a strongly scented soap by any means. But quite a nice fragrance in my opinion. A mild woody scent with a machine shop vibe. Very cool. Smells sorta like an old-time lathe mounted on a polished wooden cabinet. If that makes sense. Performance for shaving, though, is absolutely top notch.

Best shave cream I've tried!
Super comfortable shaves! Nice short lived scent. I apply it with a slightly wet brush directly to my face... Lathers up nice and quick!! Best ever!!
