I purchased the 8"-14" harness. I was excited to get this but disappointed in the fit. I have it adjusted to its minimum and it seems big on my chihuahua mix. He's 10.5 pounds, 14" length, 16" chest (deep-chested guy with a thin belly), 10" neck. The nice cushioned straps are just about NOT under his armpits. He can practically step out of it, tho I'm afraid to get the smaller size and have that be adjusted to its maximum. But when we're walking it mostly holds him; I don't think it makes him pull on the leash any less however. Oh these dog measurements...

We had this same harness for our previously deceased Pomeranian and liked it very much. Our new pom is a bit smaller so we had to buy another one. We like the fact it has the mesh chest cover as it has to be more comfortable for out pet. We also like the two fluffy side strap covers as once again it must be more comfortable than a hard strap. It has a convenient sliding lock so that once you have the harness in place you can snug it up with the slide to hold it all in place. The harness is nice and easy to put on and take off and orientation is always a breeze, unlike one of the others we have which frequently had to be removed after the first attempt to correct orientation.Lastly the harness is quite adjustable with the front straps and for the most part is probably all one needs but it would be nice to have an adjustment on the rear straps as well to help better align the mesh chest piece.Regardless we love this harness and highly recommend it.

Both my little dogs (dachshund mixes, 12-15lb) would constantly escape their harnesses when on walks...my kids were terrified to take the dogs for their walk for fear of having to chase them down/lose them! I purchased one of these to try and it is FANTASTIC! Getting it on is a bit tricky the first time, until you see how to do it...once you have that down, it's wonderful! I recently purchased another for our second dog! There is NO escaping this thing! I love that it adjusts to each dog individually...and the padding on the 'ribs' part shows me whomever came up with this actually thought about the material rubbing on the dog and wanted it to be comfy! I adore this harness and recommend it to anyone who has an escape artist like me!

The best item I've ever bought for my dogs!!! Can't say enough about this harness, it's so easy to use, so simple to put on my dogs, just slide head thru the opening n slide the straps with fab padding to protect under arms for shaping n then slide the lock with the button pressed down on the leash piece n attach to the leash...so easy so quick! The only thing you need to do before ordering his measure the neck size, very easy to do n even that doesn't have to be exact as you get plenty of space to adjust. On the straps that go under each shoulder arm there is an adjustment as shown in diagram on package n that is a one time adjustment...unless you are using extreme thicknesses from coats to sweaters, etcetera still if you adjust a collar you can adjust these straps. The one harness obviously is thicker the bigger the dog is. Just love this harness our rescue pup is a real puller like I'm a sled! So now with harness I can tug n be connects much better to my command than with Just a collar. Look very carefully n read quite a bit before choosing these harnesses n I'm soooo glad I pick them! this is the only harness i have used on my dog since he was just a little puppy. he loves it so much it doesn't even want me to take it off when its bath time or his daily brushing.so he pretty much wears it all the time its like a part of him. i have tried him with other types of harness and he wanted them off,so as her grew i had to get him only the yuppie puppy one. if you get one you won'y be sorry it is made well and is very comfortable for your pet.

I have a VERY fluffy Pomeranian and have a terrible time with harnesses. They seem to get tangles with his hair when I put them on. I bought a Sporn harness and hated it. Just didn't fit him right. So after searching, yet again...I found this one. It's perfect! Finally! It's easy to put on and take off, never gets tangled and I can tighten it to the perfect fit. I will definitely be buying another one or 2 of these for future use, as I hate finding the perfect item and then having it be discontinued!I bought size small - Neck Size 8-14", my dog is 8 pounds and extremely furry.

I love this harness. The best thing about it, is how fast I can take it on and off. For a long, long walk, I use a more secure fitting harness. But for his short evening walk, this one really fits the bill. It would work OK for a long walk as well, but I prefer a snugger fitting one that I can yank my small dog up with in case I need to get him away from another larger dog or, God forbid, a coyote.
