I purchased one of these to test it out and see if it would fit my needs. I'm happy to say that I went back and purchased 3 more. These are rugged and sturdy. Perfect for heavy duty use.

This is a well constructed case. It has heavy duty latches and wheels. Ultimately it was so heavy that it would require additional baggage fees with our equipment in it, so we returned it. But I would recommend this case if you are protecting lighter weight equipment. It's a great price for a very nice case.

Awesome travel suitcase. Not even the Atlanta airport has messed this one up yet.

The handle is flimsy and the case keeps opening durning baggage handling. This the second time when I received my bag from being on a flight the bottom part of the case was unlocked and open.

The case is fine - even tho the pressure release valve wasn't attached when I opened it. Not a big deal, just screw it on. What I do have a big problem with is that there are three levels of foam in the case - but only ONE is pick and pull. If you have an object that needs to sit on 8 inches of foam, this is fine - but if you have an instrument that needs to take up the entire depth of the case, you're gonna have a bad time cutting the other layers to make it fit securely. Id I would have know that there was only one later of pick and pull foam, i would have spent the extra money and bought a nanuk or a pelican case.

Best application is for very high end weapons, electronics, tools into storage. This case could be good for traveling. But it is quite a large weight addition. Also if you will walk long distance with it, that would not be wise. It rolls great, but.....

Writing this review after 4 months of using this product. I'm using this to house my expensive cinema camera and even more expensive cine zoom lenses as you can see in the images. I wouldn't say this is the cheapest product out there but can definitely say that it is the best quality for a such a decent price tag. I have used other brands(Pelican/Nanuk) that costed me more than twice this one costed for the same size. I was little skeptic buying this online after using those brands(bought in store), but totally surprized with the built quality of this case. The level of build quality is on par with those over expensive brands. It held up pretty well against the beating it got during transportation and abuse on film Sets. So far there are no issues like damaged hinges or broken edges except few very minor scratches. Latches are solid firm and pull handle feels strong and comfortable enough to hold the weight. I like the handles on three sides, very convenient to carry/lift by two people. They feel sturdy The size is ideal for anyone who wants to store their gear in assembled state so that you can get to work as soon as possible instead of assembling the gear at the location and wasting time. It has three layers of foam and only the top layer is pre scored which can be pluckable. I think it is not a big deal to cut the foam. Well most of my friends and I did it easily. You can buy foam sheets online if you want to change the layout later. Its weather sealing it good. I have used it in very foggy mornings and in light rain , but did not test it for waterproof though. Well that is not one of my requirements so I don't bother. If you want to test it (definitely without the gear inside) for waterproof probably do it immediately after you receive the product and return it if you are not satisfied. Me and couple of my friends are confident about using this case for our expensive gear. I would definitely choose this hard case instead of those over expensive cases in the market. If you are in doubt like I was, just give it a shot and return it if you don't like it.

3 layers of foam, but only the top layer can be easily organised. 2nd layer can be utilised, but only if its cut with a crafting knife. Also, everything in the top layer has to be removed to gain access to the lower layer, so not necessarily very convenient. However, I still love it.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this case at all. After the very first flight it arrived on the luggage belt with large cracks around the handle which render it useless. Very dissapointing for a flight case. As I was too late to return it via Amazon I contacted the manufacturer but didn't receive a reply. Next time I will buy a Peli case as I have had one for years without problem and they offer a lifetime warranty, unlike this inferior product/brand.
