Pretty decent phone mic
I bought this near the beginning of COVID as I have to weekly make videos of myself for use in our virtual worship services for the church I serve. It provides a much better sound than the in-phone mics. Also, as it is directional, it helps keep other outside noises out of the recording.I don't know whether to blame this on the mic or my phone (or a combination of the two), but if I record with this without putting my phone on Airplane Mode, I get spurious electrical noise in the recording. But, it's good to put it on Airplane Mode, anyway, to keep incoming calls and texts from ruining the recording.Recommended.
