They are soft and pliable and feel wonderful on the feet and calves. These are exactly as described and they really work. I have large calves and they are just snug enough to stay up. I think these socks are fantastic and I have ordered many pair since in various colors. In my opinion, this is a good choice for diabetics or if you simply want a good pair socks!

The top of the sock stretches nicely so they don’t cut off circulation, warm and soft.

I'm looking for socks that are warm for winter but don't restrict the circulation in my lower legs. I purchased the correct size for my feet. They are very warm, which makes me happy, but they leave marks on my legs.I'm posting four pictures. The worst pictures (pinker looking on the left) were taken after a day of wearing a pair of Docker socks. They're nice and warm, but as you can see, they severely restrict my legs.The other two pictures are these socks. Obviously much better, but still restrictive.So, now I'm ordering the extra-large to see if those make a difference.
