Update: After my review, I was contacted by the seller and sent a new battery at no additional charge. I have used it twice now off of the charger, and so far, it works great! No problems charging it after using it unplugged. Great customer service!The battery wasn't too difficult to install, and afterwards I let it charge to 100%. Then I used my MSI laptop unplugged for a few hours, and the battery worked great, no issues, and didn't die. Then I came home and plugged it in, and now it will no longer charge. It stays at 0% no matter how long I leave it plugged in and will die the second I unplug it. I've tried resetting and updating the EC and drivers, but no luck. Also, there is a small light next to the adapter plug on the laptop: it used to glow white when charging. Now it flashes yellow/orange. It's really frustrating, and I can't afford to buy yet another battery that may not work.

I bought this battery for my computer, one which I rarely use because the battery was dead. I received the new battery and it seemed to be working fine for the first two weeks. It was then when I noticed that the computer would die immediately when I unplugged it. So i put the computer up and did much of everything on my phone.I pulled the computer out again this week to work on some business items I had stored on the computer and, alas, I forgot about the battery being a piece of junk.

Edit: The seller sent me another battery, even after all this time. The battery it self looked slightly different from previous one. But it works now, I hope it won’t hiccup in a few weeks like the last one.Thanks a bunch! I removed this battery from my laptop and put it back in it started to work again but only for a while. My laptop is connected to power all the time and this battery doesn’t charge, it only charges when I take my laptop apart and reinsert the battery. Don’t buy this product if you use MSI SKU: GS63 Stealth.

Battery works as advertised. Installed battery with no issue in approximately 15 mins. However, after 48 hours of charging it max'd at 78%. Thought it was a faulty battery. Installed on a MSI FG63 9sc Thin laptop (2019 ver.). It's a video editing machine, so very much a resource and power hog. After a bit of research, found that an Embedded Controller (EC) firmware update may be in order. Found and successfully performed the update and now the battery charges to 100% or whatever charging profile I select. Hope this is helpful to any MSI laptop owners.

Es la segunda batería que compro. Es primeras me habían dicho que la laptop no podía trabajar con ella conectada. Pues la dejo encendida en casa y como trabajo en la calle me es fácil conectarme remoto a ella y trabajar cualquier cosa. Pensé que era culpa de eso. Compré está segunda batería y ando con el equipo para trabajar fuera de casa,NY no m dura nada. Cuando llega al 60% de energía se apaga. Y no es la configuración de energía. Mi equipo es un MSI. Todo en el equipo es original. Lo único que tengo fuera de la marca es la batería. Así que no es un tema de adaptación de piezas.Ahora busco una batería original de la marca, ya que estos reemplazos no me funcionan.

Bought this battery to replace the original one on my MSI Laptop. After installing it, it performed as badly as the one I was replacing. Turn the computer on and after booting on, in 5 seconds it'll die. Just got a new battery (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC22S13N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) and even when not fully charging it's working as it should

I recently purchased it and switched the bettery, it seems to work for a short while without a charger i would expect it to hold on at least a few hours
