Christmas With The Pops

I bought this CD when it first came out many years ago and my daughter borrowed it a few years later and "forgot" to return it. I was looking to see what was on Amazon and discovered that this was still available at half the price I paid for the original. I bought it and enjoyed listening to this for the past 2 months. It never sounded old and when you don't have snows throughout the winter in my part of Ohio I played it over and over hoping we would get a decent snow.

Kunzel just passed away. I can't believe it. I saw his larger-than-life Christmas show in Cincinnati years ago and was mesmerized by the sound, the details, and the glory. But that was his hallmark. Though he will be sorely missed by this reviewer, just get this incredible CD and enjoy your Christmas as I have for so many years past and for many years to come. Regardless of your playback system, I promise you, the Cincinnati Pops will bring you back to Christmas like you might not have imagined was possible. Bravo to Telarc as well. Superb recording. This has been a well kept secret until I discovered it listening to Pandora. Pandora opens my ears to so many wonderful pieces of music, orchestras, and choruses. This is simply amazing! If you love orchestra and traditional Christmas music, your ears will be delighted. The pieces are arranged beautifully! Well worth every penny! Every Christmas music lover needs this CD in their collection. Happy Listening!Please issue as digital music because I desperately need this in my digital collection of music! It is gorgeous! Unlike any other recordings!

I had this CD since the 90's and was super sad when it finally wore out. My husband sweetly found this replacement and now Christmas can continue to exist for me.

Purchased for my mother, but she did not enjoy it like I though she would.

Once I received this CD at Christmas time, it has become my new favorite. Wonderfully presented with a beautiful assortment of traditional Christmas music. This CD will not disappoint those looking for a new addition to their Christmas CD collection, and for those just starting a Christmas collection, I would highly recommend this become their first Christmas CD!

I love the collection of songs on this CD, the best Christmas songs sung by my favorite holiday artists. If you like old school music this is the CD.

This recording is a must for anyone interested in having an orchestral,vocal, and/or choral rendering of popular and sometimes rare music of Christmas.It is hard to come by now but nonetheless well worth pursuing.
