The Natural History of Weasels and Stoats: Ecology, Behavior, and Management

I'm only part way into the book but I love the writing style as well as the content. As a mammalogist at heart and weasel lover ( ferrets as well) this book is wonderful! Wish I could help with more research!

Magnificent resource

This book not only makes it easier to understand these incredible animals but it was also fascinating and easy to read. I truly enjoyed the anecdotal tales and factual references and would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone interested in ferrets, weasels, stoats or mink. I have a whole new understanding and respect for these creatures with thanks to Dr. King and Prof. Powell. This will also help me much with the work I do with ferrets. A very complete book, it's comprehensive, insightful and highly readable. I guess this is the best book about weasels and stoats so far. Nice illustrations too.

I should have read the description more clearly I thought this book would cover the entire Mustelidae family wolverines, fishers, mink etc, but it mainly only covers 3 species the long tailed weasel, the common weasel, and stoats. The three species it does cover it goes very in depth and covers every aspect of the weasels life.
