Q: Can i cut pavement ends for laying bricks?

Hello there, I'm not sure what you mean by "pavement ends," but maybe this will help, this summer I laid a red brick patio and the tools used were a rubber mallet, a claw hammer and this chisel. This chisel and the hammer were what I used to cut the bricks for the end pieces, which are usually the smaller pieces. I used this chisel to first score around the brick and then to "break or cut" the brick. It did a fantastic job. Hope this is what you meant and that it helps you get your project finished : )

Great value does as described

Very useful for removing extra thin set off concrete floor! No deforming of handle with sever hundred hard blows, remains effectively sharp!

Sloppy edge

It's a chisel so not much to comment on except the factory edge is really sloppy. Not worth the hassle of returning since I have a bench grinder, you would think they would have one too and know how to use it.
