Stable and fit

Bought this for when out on site at work; the Surface Pro is quite slippery when being carried and concrete floors a tad unforgiving! This cover is well made and many of the comments from others are right; the pen holder is quite firm (but it won't fall out for sure) and the hand strap is way too tight to slip your fingers through and use like a clipboard. OK for carrying but not well thought through. Otherwise, all buttons work and cut-outs fit for the USB, charger etc. Not bad value. For occasional use it's OK...used every day, I'd want a better carry strap TBH. The corner rubber is quite hard, so maybe not as much shock-absorption as you would like.

My surface pro is a standby machine used only as a backup when travelling - due to quarantine requirements thanks to Covid I always have a spare machine with me - the machine has been used less than a dozen times in the last 12 months being keep this the laptop bag - this protective case broke for no obvious reason - this is less than 1 month after purchase.Do not purchase it will not last

Easy to fit on and very durable materials

Overall it's got a nice design and seems rugged enough but there are a few issues which really let it down.First and foremost is it's theremals; the case unfortunately just traps any heat the surface produces, I have to take it out of the case if I'm doing anything so it doesn't overheat.The second major issue is the fit. This may just be the mold they used being at the end of it's life (can see the mold lines pretty clearly on the case) but my surface doesn't fit properly, I can see the silver of the sides of the suface and the bottom of the case bows outward, so I'm honestly not sure it the surface would stay in the case if dropped.The lax in tolerances also effects the IO; with the case bulging when I plug in the charger.All in all the case looks good and the addition on a hand strap was a good idea, but the case itself just isn't fit for it's function.

Great drop protection case for Surface Pro 2017. Excellent corner protection and has a hand flap on reverse to allow the Surface pro to be held one handed without worry of it falling great design. However, the rubber case is heavy in its own accord. The Surface Pro is under 0.8KG but I believe this case alone is 0.35KG which is almost half the weight of the surface. If you have a Type cover then this case has one corner rubber band like bit which can be swung over to keep the type cover closed when carrying for extra safety. Lastly the case allows the Surface pro kick stand to work well without any hindrance. Excellent design job by the manufacturer.

I'm constantly using it for on the go photography and at work, this case had been a dream the last two years. The pen holder has held up, the strap is still just the way it was when I purchased it. Other ones I tried snapped within weeks.The case is a great colour and texture. Only down side is where the power plugs in. The edge can shift and you have to fiddle with it. Besides that 5/5.

I got this for my daughter's Surface. She loves it. It's really easy to use and I worry less about her carry it around.
