I love this camera. Quality is better than my cellphone definitely a great starter camera.

The picture is clear and focused on the person sitting in front of the monitor, plus the microphone sound quality is also very good. This is perfect for Zoom, etc.The plastic edge around my monitor is less than 1/8" (closer to 2mm) thick while the back of the monitor rapidly flares outwards which seems less than optimal. However, the camera clamps securely on without any pressure on the screen itself. (See photo). Even if there had been a problem, this camera comes with a flexible tripod and the included USB cable is 3 feet long, so locating it elsewhere would not have been a problem.I'm on Windows 11 and this just plugged straight in and worked right off the bat. Zero setup required.The only "work" you need to do is decide whether you want the privacy flap to be installed. If you do, it's a ring that simply slips over the lens cylinder and sticks to the camera body. For $20 this is a no brainer.

Pretty good cam wish it were a bit better but for the price it’s worth it.

I bought this so I did not have to pull out my laptop every time I needed to get on a meeting. It works amazing. It comes in clear in video and sound. It comes with a mini tripod for using on the desk but it's also designed to sit on a monitor. It does not tighten enough to clamp, so you would want to make sure not to move your monitor around, or use a spacer to keep it tight on the monitor. However, it is also lined with a rubber material so it sits up there fine, even if you can't tighten. It's small which is perfect for a small desk space. For the cost it's a great plug and go solution!

This is the worst webcam I have ever used. It will break after 1 month of use and the microphone is so bad, the wires are loose in its case and it is over all useless. You're better spending your money on a camera with no microphone and if you dont have windows activated on your computer good luck trying to use your main microphone.

This external camera is compatible to use when if you’re using it for school, like I am so I can take my test at home. It met the Honorlock compatibility. Video quality is a little pixelated. It was hard for me to take a picture of my DL to verify who I was for the testing, you do need a good lightening. I did like how portable and small to fit in my backpack. Its 3 legs helped to stand up. The camera can be adjusted to face up or down. I did like that it came with a cover for the lens when I am not using the camera it can be closed. It was easy to put together and there was no need to add an any software to utilize the camera, just plugged it into the laptop. I think it was worth the price I paid for, plus I got it very quickly.Camera has a mic, picture is in color.

Works smoothly on a Mac mini M2 chip. It was automatically detected once plug-in and requires no further configurations except choosing it as your camera from the software you are using.It comes with a tripod - soft legs, which is handy when you don't want to mount it on your monitor.A small lens cover is included and you can choose to tape it to the camera (double-sided tape on the cover already). The cover can be opened or close.The color profile is not very accurate but it's good enough for normal video chat.The lens is wide-angle so you will see distortion when objects are too close to the camera. As long as the object is more than 10cm away, the effect is not very obvious.
