Perfect for small craft projects
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These were absolutely perfect for my project. Plenty of slight variations in colors and textures but still relatively consistent and all square so it doesn’t look weird. Very few broken ones as well, unlike others.

Not perfect, but it works.
These are probably third rate shells. Maybe half of them are actually square shape, the rest are just off of square. None of them came without defect of either rough shell or gouged areas on one side, but are smooth surface on the other. They are mostly flat. If you use a putty or grout to place these, you should be able to get a smooth surface. If you use glue, it's like a broken sidewalk. 350 of these shells will cover a 16inch by 12inch surface if you use every shell without space between them. Beware, you need to have space between them to allow for size differences in each piece.
