Royal Purple (06520-6PK API-Licensed Heavy Duty SAE 5W-20 High Performance Synthetic Motor Oil - 1 Quart, (Case of 6)

I purchased used 2018 Ford Escape 2.5L(Not turbo), Noticed horrible transmission rough shift to up 40mile. Improved shifting by changing transmission oil 3 times , but still rough shifting was there. I decided to replace Mortorcraft oil(was new oil) with Royal purple oil 5W-20 also added Hot shots Secret oil additive, Improved power and smoothness by instantly after replaced, also, Transmission rough shifting problems are 100% fixed. I am first time user of Royal purple oil and very happy changing to Royal purple. Drove few days later on freeway, seems to be getting much better gas milage.

Well, I changed the oil in my 2012 Ford Fiesta SES 5 speed manual today at 14188 original miles. My engine ought to be broken in by now. My three year factory warranty expired. Time to protect my investment for the long haul. This is my third oil change since I bought my car brand new. My previous two servicing's were done by my local Ford dealership. At the dealership prices. I suppose that the service techs used "Ford" products on my ride since they're a dealership......... Well back to the "Royal Purple" upgrade. After tricking out my Fiesta with the best that money could buy in the past, and after viewing all the available information that I could find, reading the car owner reviews, and seeing oil filters sawed in half, I decided that I would give "Royal Purple" a try. The 1.6L Ford Fiesta engine specs call for 4.2 quarts of 5w20 oil. After installing the new upgraded "Royal Purple" oil filter, I added the four quarts of Royal Purple 5w20 oil, and topped it off with .2 quarts of "Lucas Pure Synthetic" oil treatment. I've been using "Lucas" brand oil treatment in all my vehicles for years so I already knew how good it is. Todays smaller, newer engines require a lighter formula than the original "Lucas" so I bought the "Lucas Pure synthetic" formulated for new engines. I'm Very, VERY pleased with the results in my Ford Fiesta SES! My car runs so smooth and quiet that I have to listen to see if the engine is still running while driving down the road in gear! Now I'm not one to brag, but it DOES seem like there's MORE POWER. Whatever it is, I definitely noticed a faster acceleration without even trying to press the pedal harder to do it! This from a guy that has used over the last 40 years all the oils, gimmicks, gadgets, and snake oils on the market and some that are not even on the market anymore! This is an upgrade that went perfectly smooth, with no pain, and no modifications! Anybody that says Royal Purple products are bunk is sadly misinformed, or just plain stupid. I'll NEVER use any other oil in my hot hatch!

Good price. Less expensive than auto stores

I have been using this oil in my 2017 Ford F150 since I bought it in 2018, I used it in other vehicles before. Yes it costs a little more than other oils but to me it seems to be a better product. My engines haven’t given me any issues with this oil, and even changing my oil at 5,000 mile intervals the used oil is still sometimes purple instead of black. Ordered it from Amazon because it was cheaper than my local stores.

My first try. I have read all types of reviews on Royal Purple and this was my first attempt in my Ford V8 4.6 I have ran penzoil full synthetic a great oil, and I drive about 60 miles home in the Colorado mtns. 5k to almost 10k elevation gain of around 5k, and have consistent mileage and I don’t go easy except to slow down for the occasional city Subaru. This was my only change and I’m now getting up to a 10% increase in mile/gal. And quiet engine run 130+k on my engine I can say this was my only change in my car not my driving! So far impressive I am hoping to also clean up the internals of the engine as that is a common feature for Royal Purple, I don’t know for sure on that but mileage increase I can attest to, I believe it is the reason.

Oil you can trust.

Been wanting to try Royal Purple for a while and finally gave it a shot in my daily driver. Engine feels a bit smoother, and startup noise is a little quieter than usual. The deep purple color is a nice touch and makes it easy to see the oil level when checking or pouring. Shipping was fast, but the bottle had a small scuff on the cap — didn’t affect the seal though. I keep this quart mounted in my truck using the TripleD Tools Oil Dock, and it’s held in nice and snug. No sliding around and always ready when I need it.

Best oil on the market

Noticed a difference just in engine noise, acceleration and gas mileage. Can't say enough positive thing about Royal Purple. Love it.
