Wasn't as good as it usually is
I've bought this before and normally it is really good, great flavor and texture. But recently the ones I bought had a strange texture on the mochi. I think they didn't prepare the mochi properly in the factory and therefore made the mochi tough textured. So I wasn't really happy with my recent ones. But usually it's extremely good.

I've never had bad mochi ice cream, it's always yummy, but this one is my favorite. The green tea flavor is perfect.

It's hard to go wrong with ice cream mochi
Though yes, it's possible to have bad ice cream mochi (I've had some where the mochi layer was too thick and gummy), these are good. Light green tea taste, good ratio of mochi to filling, good chewy mochi.Also I like the slanted clamshell packaging, it makes it easy to pick up a single mochi without trying to pop or wrestle one out of a tray.
