Q: Do you need have to place the cleaning solution cartridge in the station to charge, then place the solution in the station when ready to clean?

The station uses Braun's standard Clean & Renew cartridges. You insert a cartridge in the station per the instructions - open the station by pushing the button on the back, raising the top, and slide in a cartridge (after removing the top plastic seal), then push down the top and close the station. If you shave daily, the cartridge should last about 3-4 weeks, and the station will remind you when it needs changing - a ring around the top button will turn sequentially yellow/green, then red. When the light turns red the cartridge is good for about another week, then you'll need to change it for the station to continue cleaning. You don't need to remove the cartridge except to change it, but even if you don't use the station the cartridge will eventually need changing due to evaporation of the cleaning solution.

Q: can the shaver be charged withour using the smartcare center?

Yes, the shaver can be charged directly with the power adapter.

Q: Why does this shaver vibrate so much when i hold it? i have carpal tunnel and when i shave with this it makes my hand go numb, how can i prevent this?
