Must have tool for wheel alignment
I recently got the Toolwiz Universal Adjustable Magnetic Gauge Tool, and it’s been a game-changer for tire and wheel alignment on my car and truck. This tool is incredibly easy to use and provides precise camber and caster measurements, making alignment jobs quicker and more efficient. The magnetic base holds securely, giving me confidence while I work. The build quality is excellent—it feels sturdy and built to last, even with frequent use. Whether it’s a car, truck, or RV, this gauge tool adapts perfectly. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an effective, high-quality, and easy-to-use alignment solution and great value for your money.

Inexpensive tool that’ll save your tires.
These are exceptionally useful to those who diy mechanics who replace major suspension components, struts, or do a full front end kit. NOTE: yes these work! They will get you CLOSE. But it must be said to get a professional alignment afterward for perfect alignment. They are extremely durable and the magnets are strong making installation easy. And easily adjusted between measurements for caster/camber. Well worth the money spent considering the cost of new tires!

Excellent DIY alignment tool
This alignment tool is fantastic for measuring camber alignment. It's very simple to use. Once you attach the magnet to the rotor, you'll then get a pretty accurate measurement of how many camber degrees your wheel is leaning in or out, so that you can then adjust according to manufacturer's specs. It's a solid built tool, simple to use and excellent value for the money!

Quick and easy but not very accurate
I wanted this to work, I really did. But I had the opportunity to compare it with a more expensive Tenhulzen alignment setup and found it quite lacking. On my 1965 VW Beetle, it measured camber at -1 degrees (driver's side) and +.5 degrees. This is wildly out of spec and I was informed that this was indicative of bent tie rods. Fortunately, I decided to try with the more expensive alignment kit which indicated that both wheels were well within spec. Had I acted on the results that this gauge provided, it would have been a costly and unnecessary mistake. The problem is three-fold. First, as this is a spirit level, it works relative to gravity and not relative to the surface that the vehicle is sitting on (this was most of the problem in my case). Second, it needs to be adjusted perfectly prior to use. Third, the spirit bubble is not very precise, with a precision of maybe 0.5 degrees (that's the entire error bound for most vehicles!). So neat idea, but not really worth it.

Useful tool (when used correctly!)
This is a great little tool for the price, if you do your part as well! It is -critical- that you have the vehicle perfectly level because the spirit bubble follows gravity the way a household level does. Check zeroing periodically during use. Otherwise you may notice it out of zero on the last wheel and, not knowing when that happened, have to start all over again. For physical attributes, the tool seems well-built. It is nicely finished and a little heavy, the way a tool should be. The zeroing screw fits snugly and doesn’t walk out during use, but I do wish it had a way to lock it in place. No sharp edges, easy to read. Take your time, be careful, and happy aligning!
