Cleans under the rim very well. The blue color on the pad is the indictor for us to see if the cleaning process is finished.It prevents us to see the rustness on the non-disposable brush head. You may not need this type of brush every time cleaning the toilet, but it's definitely a must to use occasionally (once or twice a month) to remove the built-up under the rim. I keep one set in each of our 3 bathrooms.

Bought for use in my new home that is on septic tank, since I couldn’t use the bleach kind I was used to. This seems to work well, and is easy to use. Will be buying g more for each bathroom.

We started using this product after a previous toilet scrubber with refills became obsolete. We were so happy with the previous product that it was hard to find a substitute. The flushable models just don't always cut it and I find them to fall apart too soon. While we are largely happy with these refills, I do wish it was more closely shaped to the rim of the toilet as the previous model had been. That being said, the scrubbing feature is the best that I've found currently available. It is also affordably priced.Pros: Durable enough to withstand saturation, scrubbing capability, costCons: Not as closely shaped to the rim of the toilet as I would like, not tough enough to break through hard water stainsIf you like to maintain the cleanliness of your toilets, this may be a good selection for you. That being said, you may need additional supplies to break through hard water stains. If the refills start to fall off mid-clean, it is likely the wand at fault rather than the refills.

This Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System really made me sit up and take notice when I used it the first time. We have so many minerals in our city water that just having the water enter the bowl when it's flushed, leaves marks or stains if you will, all down the inside of the bowl. Most cleansers just caused streaks if they worked even a little.I have tried a number of cleaning products to get it off to no avail. The water also left a terrible ring that just got worse and worse. Now, I'm not talking about an old toilet, I'm talking about one only a couple of years old so you can tell I was completely frustrated. To have to use a soap stone to scrub and scrub hard to get the ring out just wasn't my cup of tea so when I got this system to test out for Walmart, even though it's especially meant for under the rim where the water comes out, I wasn't expecting miracles. BUT, not only did it get out most of the nasty mineral build up there, the cleaning compound in the pad did a lot for the rest. I scrubbed the rest of the toilet with it but didn't flush. I let it sit everywhere there were mineral stains including the ring.While it didn't get all the mineral stains when I used it, it faded them all so you had to look close to see them and the ring, while it didn't just wipe away, it loosened the minerals so that all I had to do was go over it lightly with the soap stone. No scrubbing hard enough to possibly damage the porcelain. It worked so well, we used it on the second 2 year old toilet with the same results.The 'scrubbers are so easy to put on the wand and with a touch of the button, they drop into the garbage. Your hands don't come in contact with the pads at all after you use them. I ordered these refills with a 2nd unit for the other bathroom.All I can say is, what a find, we love it!

I had this wand for quite a while, and have been refilling it. I ordered another wand and additional scrubbers so that our kids have one for their bathroom as well. Convenient and easy disposable and the sturdiness of the scrubber sponge are my primary reasons for staying with this brand.
