Rugged, one hand operation, use it 20x per day!
Beast of a knife, rugged, useful, handles with one hand to draw, open, use, close, and replace in your pocket. A great design! I handle hay bales to feed horses, and this tool is indispensable.

Could not ask for more at this price point. THRILLED!
I had put this family of knifes on my own personal wishlist 3 months ago because I loved the idea of the wave feature. I do not carry or own a firearm and to me a pocket knife should be useful for every day tasks but be ready when necessary for self defense. This does both! The wave feature makes it instantly accessible without any (to the best of my knowledge) illegal features. It is ready to perform ANY task as soon as it leaves my pocket. And I'm so glad I waited for the D2 steel blade, which was a happy accident. I enjoy just taking this knife out of my pocket. It's better than a fidget spinner for idle hands. The blade is razor sharp out of the box and because I just enjoy using this knife I have since taken up whittling. I have now nearly completed a walking stick and the blade will still shave hairs off my arm and don't have a single blister on my hands! I am not a knife enthusiast and I know there are far better knives on the market but for the price you CANNOT beat this knife. My dislikes are so minimal that I'm not even going to bother listing them. If I had paid $100 dollars I'd still be happy with this knife. Lastly, I'd like to give the seller some props because the knife is 30 something dollars cheaper than listed on the Kershaw website and the knife arrived a full 3 days earlier than what the estimated day of arrival was! I ordered it Friday night and it was here Monday when I got home from work and all in original packaging and boxing. If you are someone who cares about function more than trendy styles or just wants a nice edc knife then look no further. This is your new go to knife.Update 6/5/2020 - I just ordered my second knife not because it broke or I lost it but because it is so awesome I don't wanna be without it again. I use it every day, have carved multiple walking sticks with it, cut away tape on metal surfaces almost daily, and only had to sharpen it once or twice. I can't get it back to factory sharp but it is always sharp enough to handle the task at hand and hold it's edge forever! If I have my way I'll buy two more and be set for life assuming I'll inevitably lose a couple along the way!

Great knife
Really nice knife. The wave feature makes for a quick draw. As somebody who trains with knives for self defense, this knife or the fox karambit are pretty much the only folders worth looking at. I have the trainer version of this blade as well. Coupled with a paracord pull tab, this knife deploys fast, feels good in hand and is super solid. Haven't put it to a stone yet, so I cant speak to how it takes an edge, but it does stay sharp as an edc. Overall, very nice knife and great value for the price.

Great intro knife
Overall a great intro if you’re thinking about the wave but don’t want to drop $200 to find out if it’s for you. Super functional and sturdy knife so far. Took very little practice to get comfortable with the wave opening. This thing opens QUICK. My only complaint is that the clip is pretty weak. The knife just falls out if I drop my drawers and it made for an awkward “Will you hand that to me?” in a public bathroom.

Smooth as melted butter
WARNING! This blade comes with a seriously sharpened edge. Upon arrival I inspected the knife for it's quality given the south of $100 price. For its probable uses this knife gives you an affordable yet high quality components fitted into a smaller EDC everyday carry blade. The D2 steel is favorite of mine due to it's a overall Rockwell hardness rating and it's easier of putting a fine edge on it when needed after hard use. D2 is a perfect and affordable steel when a $400+ blade just isn't practical when children need to eat and buying this years schools supplies is right around the corner. G10 scale is also impressive since most knife makers at higher costs are also using it. Stainless liners and a solid lock up are also a plus. The Emerson Wave feature. Here's where it gets scary. First time out of my jeans pocket I cut two fingers and required bandages for bleeding control. Please, practice the opening carefully with what ever pants, slacks, jeans or hikers you plan on carrying this knife in. It's critical to learn this procedure properly without needing first aid essentials close nearby. My first attempt at deploying the blade was with jeans that a bit of elastine in them and pocket stretches when clipped into place. This caused me to struggle a bit since the knife clip is very tight against jeans pockets. Hence the two slices fingers. Aside from needing to practice the deployment of this blade carefully I'm certain you'll be impressed by this Kershaw addition to its manufacturing inventory. Stay safe!
