Razor Handle Compatible for all Sensor Blade with One Sensor cartridge blade.

I didn't realize every blade cartridge needs a specific handle. This is perfect and I like it more than the previous one I was using (also an aftermarket replacement) which was heavy, rounded and harder to handle.

I had to replace my Sensor 3 razor after many years of use. You can’t find a replacement in the drugstore these days so I found a regular Sensor razor that accepts the three-blade option on Amazon. I do not like the razors that supposedly improved after the Sensor 3 was made. My new razor is a lighter weight version of what I had ( a rubberized grip instead of metal) but it works like a charm.

Product is what I expected for the price. However there seems to be an issue with either the handle or the cartridges that I am using in that if I tap the razor to get the shaving soap out from between the blades the cartridge head comes off the handle. Not a big problem but a nuisance. The cartridge to razor connection doesn't appear to be as stable/secure as in the past.

It works with gillette sensor two blade razor cartridges.

I have other razors that I have had over the years. They have some weight to them which means it makes it easier to balance in your hand and get a very balanced shave. I think this was made out of aluminum cans. It has no weight to it it has no balance to it and I would not recommend this to anybody.

It's made out of plastic and the blue raised ribs are rubbery, which I'd guess makes it easier to hold with wet soapy fingers. I'd also guess you could snap it in two with your hands, but why would you do that? If you were using it to shave, and you put enough pressure on it to break it, you would bleed to death long before you needed another shave. If you have Sensor blades and need a handle to use them, this is it.

So far, after only a couple of weeks (and before blade change) I am quite pleased with the razor. Thought the light weight might bother me, but as it turns out, this is really a good thing. Think of the razor as an extension of the hand, not as a heavy thing one must maneuver. Blade that came with the handle seems extra sharp (I suspect manufacturers do this on purpose).

Good replacement

I was looking for the old Gillett sensor Excel but this is the closest I could find. I wanted a first razor for my son, that had a small enough head on it so that he could shave with some precision because he only needs to shave his moustache. I was very happy with the product and my son loved using it. He hasn't cut himself yet, but Im sure thats coming, otherwise where's the fun :)
