Perfect replacement for 1” plastic wand tilters where gear and tilter gear is more durable metal (likely zinc) instead of cheap plastic where the mechanism that sticks out usually breaks when the gears inside gets stuck. Despite the size shown on Amazon, it’s a perfect fit for me. See pics in mm and side by side with the plastic style that came with my blinds. Before buying confirm your style matches. Only struggle is installing the wand mechanism through the blinds opening in the housing for me as the rubber tube wasn’t removable. After a small wrestle match with it, it’s working great, no difference on how it feels turning. Great price versus online fix my blinds sites where shipping costs is hard to rationalize if buying just a few. The hole is D shaped is about 1/8” or really about 2.9mm as best as I can measure.

Perfect yet economical fix for my 1" corded mini blind with broken tilt feature. Corded blinds are now obsolete and I didn't want to replace an almost perfectly working blind just because the tilt feature stopped functioning. I initially purchased a cordless blind, but the housing at the top was slightly larger and would have required me to replace the bracket hangers at the top and who knows how long it would work properly. Plus it was pricier than the old school corded blind. Now I can return that $30 cordless blind that I never wanted. Thank you!

Examine your blinds closely and look at the detailed measurement given in their description. Metal gears will last longer and these parts are hard to impossible to find locally as they'd rather sell you a new blind. Install with ease - look at YouTube for detailed instructions. Great money saver!

I love that this had metal gears and post. But it is oversized for what I would consider are standard 1" mini blinds. I was able to snap it into the top rail with a pliers, but it did bend the rail open wider than 1" and the "D" shaped rod was off-center. I could not see anywhere I could dremel and cut the plastic to make it line up better. Overall it works and I'm sure it won't break compared to the normal plastic junk tilt mechanisms.

Fit exactly like original. Was easy to replace and looks like good quality. Was happy with overall experience.

Measure & view carefully to compare with the blinds "transmission" being replaced. While there are apparently several different sizes and designs, it's pretty straightforward to identify and order the correct one. Once replaced, they make the blinds function like new!

Can't believe it. I was taking a chance but thought I'd be wasting my money. But, they work. Tricky to remove the old ones and put them in but certainly worth the effort. They seem sturdier than the originals and work very smoothly. I've now purchased another couple for my other two blinds. Really pleased.
