Great Bicycle Speaker
I ride my road bike listening to the of all things the radio. For the last few years I have been using an iHome speaker that plugged into the headphone jack of my Insignia HD FM portable. The only problem was the sound was weak and the type of on off switch the speaker used drained the battery. While looking for a new speaker, it needed to meet at least three of my specs, which were size, water resistance, rechargeable, and good sound. On my first ride with the Inateck Ultra-Portable Aluminum Wireless Speaker, I was not disappointed. I use about three #64 rubber bands to secure the speaker to the handlebar stem and hook the belt clip of the radio to my top tube bag. The connection to the speaker is a standard male to male headphone cable (note: the less shielded the better as this is used by the radio I have as an antenna). The sound was good and if I really turn up the volume I can feel the bass reverberating through the handlebars. By accident I checked the water resistance while getting some water. I either took in too much or got some down my wind pipe, but in either case it resulted a mouthful of water hitting the speaker grill head on and there was no sign of the water creating any problems on the last half my ride. The size of the speaker is a little bigger than my iHome model, but it fit where I wanted it to go with only a minor adjustment needed to stop it from hitting my bike computer mounted on the handle bar. As far as battery life goes, that will take a few rides to figure out. But if it is really 15 hours as specified, I think I may get a little more than that since I am not using bluetooth. Hopefully I can come back here and post a photo of how I mount it and give an update on the battery life.

it sounds bigger than it looks I love it
My criteria for a Bluetooth box when I was shopping for one to take to work were*highly portable to keep in my pocket should I be unable to use it depending on work day*long battery life to last the work night*decent sound*Bluetooth 4.0 so battery life on my phone doesn't suffer as well*and of course not break the bankTHIS MET ALL THOSE FOR ME!For $48.99 you get a gorgeous box that can handle splashes (using close to the shower almost everyday), awesome sound (for the size and price point it sounds amazing but I'm no audiophile the treble feels a little lacking but again price point), includes some high quality looking 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux cord and micro usb cord that are fabric braided, a leather pouch, and adjustable lanyard. I've been using this box in my shower, at work on a table in the middle of my coworkers, in my cargo pants pocket as i sweep at work and generally blasting it at home to give it a work out. It has yet to skip or die on me. I charged it the day I got it and I've used it on and off for 4 days on the single charge. Inateck claims 12-15hrs of battery. My last day working it went full blast for around 5.5 hours in my pocket and it's still not showing a low battery. It has a bass vent at the back and it is VERY functional, you can feel the air these little speakers move. Covering it makes the music sound very flat but laying face up on a table will not cause this only intentional hand covering did I notice. Also at max volume heavy bass music can produce port noise in the rear as you can hear air rushing in and out but again it's not something you can hear unless you put your ear to the back of it at max volume. My only gripe is I WISH INATECK WOULD HAVE MADE THE UP AND DOWN BUTTONS SINGLE TAP FOR VOLUME AND LONG PRESS TO CHANGE SONGS instead it's vice vera long press for volume and tap to change songs. Over all build quality from box to product I give it a 9.5/10 with my only gripe being the vol/song button issue. The top buttons feel great and have a good quality feel.TL; DR review version+price (not a lot of Bluetooth speakers offer all this put together let alone at this price)+huge battery life (9-12hrs)+splash resistant good for rain and bathroom use+sound for size (don't expect bose sound though)+has mic for speaker phone with answer call button press twice to redial last dialed+aux in+extras included aux, usb cord, pouch, lanyard+lightweight (swings in my cargo shorts pocket at work no shin bruising)+re-pairs quickly once it's been paired once to your phone, powering it back on auto pairs with last paired device and has audio confirmation that it paired.+Bluetooth 4.0 it saves your phones battery IF it is also Bluetooth 4.0 it uses less energyCons:-treble and mids can be lacking at times feeling a little muffled but +the bass is there... for the size. If it bothers you just download a eq app or use the aux input to use your native sound presets.-wish volume buttons were tap for volume and long press to change songs vs vice vera (how they are is long press for volume and tap to change songs)-rubber feet could be improved and I'm afraid they fall off and get lost with ageOverall don't hesitate to buy this. The slim size makes it more portable for me vs a soda can form factor speaker even though this box is stereo you won't decipher left and right sounds from how close the speakers are together. I've played acdc on it to calvin harris it's a great box. If you're looking for some extra power over your phones built in speaker I'd definitely go for this. It should suffice for small parking or backyard hang outs but if you're looking to rock a bon fire or tailgate get something with way more power in the 50-200 watt range.

Buy this speaker!
This is a great speaker! I bought it because my last bluetooth speaker did not connect to devices well. The Inateck speaker connects quickly every time. The construction is sturdy and durable which is also important to me. And most important of all, the sound quality is amazing. There is so much energy packed into this little speaker. The highs are crisp and clear, the mids are full and the bass is amazing and pungent. I highly recommend this for someone that wants a quality speaker. It also comes with a great leather pouch to carry it in, and quality aux and charging cables.

Very Good Speaker System
I found this is a very good personal, portable, rechargeable speaker system for my iPod (Nano). I take it to the beach when I work on my tan and into the backyard when I garden. The sound quality is very good, although it's not extremely loud, but that's a plus at the beach as I don't want to disturb others; if you're looking to blast out the jams, this probably isn't the unit to you. I've never had it die on me for lack of a charge, and I typically spend at least six hours at a time gardening. It recharges pretty quickly, too. Just FYI if you buy one: switching it "on" requires pressing and holding the power button until the unit beeps. It comes with a USB-to-mini charge cord, and a speaker cord (jack one end into my iPod and the other into the speaker unit). I've never tried the Bluetooth function, so can't speak about that. Also, I don't know whether or not it's truly waterproof, but it's been in the sand and dirt with no problems.
