ColumbiaWomen's Heavenly Jacket

To my fellow Amazon shoppers; I live in Northern Idaho. Where I live there is a ton of wind. I have tried all kinds of winter jackets, wind breakers, and sweatshirts. I grew up wearing Columbia, so I knew that I would be okay with this coat! However, I had read some of the reviews from the past year and they were very mixed! The good reviews were very good, but the bad were the worst! Some of the reviews said that the thumb wholes were made for a child, and cut into their hands. A few stated that their jackets did not have the true Columbia logo on it. The worst one read that the horizontal stitching was not just on the surface, but it was stitched from front to back making the jacket impossible to even wear! I took the plunge, I am not afraid to return an item, especially to Amazon, they have such great customer service, and interaction with their customers. I knew that they would make things right if the jacket was not up to standard. When I logged into my account and saw that the jacket was half off of the original price! Anyone can risk a jacket for 60 dollars right? As soon as I received my coat, I went through, an made sure that my coat did not contain any of the negative mistakes as with other reveiwers. I can honestly say this is one of the better things I have ordered online. I am very happy with this purchase. I would absolutoley recommend this jacket to anyone in need of a great winter coat. The thumb pieces to not cut into my hand. The jacket’s reflective lining helps to preserve my body heat for those extremely windy days! Thank you to the Amazon staff for allowing us consumers to afford Columbia jackets on a budget, poor people need warm winters as well! To those who have read this far, buy the dang thing, you will not regret it!

I was looking for a down-type jacket that didn't make me look like the Michelin man. This jacket is great - the quilted pattern is less puffy looking than the typical style and the waist tapers somewhat, making very flattering on. For reference, I'm 5'2", 135 lbs. and busty - a medium fits perfectly with room for a few light layers underneath. The jacket is also super lightweight, but warm. Would definitely purchase again.

Love this coat! It came in 2 days with Prime and it fits me really well. I wanted a puffer style jacket that also didnt make me feel like a giant marshmallow, kept me warm but wasn't too thick. I got an XS, I'm 5'0 and 105 lbs

Received this coat yesterday and wore it this morning to work. It kept me nice and dry from the rain and warm from the wind on this gusty 40 degree day. It fits very true to size. I purchased a size small and am 5'4'' 120 lbs. I wore a cable knit sweater underneath and could still move easily and could probably layer a zip up under it as well without feeling too bulky. I recommend this coat!

Love this jacket! I'm traveling to New York late November and I think this jacket will keep me cozy. I first purchased the longer version with a hood, but It was too bulky for travel, plus the zipper wasn't smooth. So I returned it and chanced this shorter version without the hood. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs, and I ususally wear a small (4-6). I purchased the small, but it gave me little wiggle room, plus little room for layering, and so---again (sorry Amazon)---I exchanged it for the medium, which fit's comfortably and leaves me room for layers. Beautiful, well made coat. I purchased the Chalk color. It's an off white, leaning towards cream. I don't wear white, because it flushes me out, but this chalk color is kind to my light skin tone. Light weight. Not as compact as down, but very similar to, and spares those poor ducks from being plucked.

I have recently tried more than one version of this jacket in both 2X and 3X sizes. I find the 3X run large on me and the 2X are too form fitting. There is definitely a big jump from one size to the other. The style of many Columbia coats is more fitted so you may need to try the next size up depending if you wear layers underneath. Other than that the coat design is really nice and the Omni-Heat system appears to work. I have currently given up on getting a Columbia coat until I lose a few more pounds and can fit better in a 2X. I guess that gives me a goal for the new year.

I’m 5’ 1”, 140 pounds, and a 34DDD and the medium fits a bit snug, but looks good! If you have similar dimensions to me I might size up to a large but otherwise looks fantastic. Super lightweight and comfortable, I love the inside pocket!

Received this jacket and first impression is great - lovely colour and fit! It feels really warm (with a fleecey collar) although I haven't had a chance to wear it in the cold weather yet. I was a little worried about sizing but Medium fit me perfectly, I am tall (5'10) and usually wear a UK 10/12 in jackets. I normally have trouble with the sleeves not being long enough but no such troubles with this jacket.

This is the best jacket for efficient protection against cold weather. I wore this in weather 4-8 deg C in the Himalayan mountains with no base layer at all. And at 0-4 deg C with a base layer (Columbia omni heat base layer).I bought this and not the one with down feathers since I do not like using animal based products.

Bought this in a Medium for myself and a Large for my best friend who is much bustier than me.We both love the gorgeous deep olive green colour, quality and fit.I swear by Columbia Omni Heat and don't wear any other brand of quilted jackets as they're either too bulky or just not warm enough. I now have 6 x Columbia Heavenly jackets in various colours and both lengths that this range comes in.I wore a Columbia Omni Heat lined jacket one Christmas in Sweden with just a short sleeved T-SHIRT underneath when the temperature outside was just -23C and it kept me nice and warm. Because the lining reflects your body temperature, I find it most effective when I'm wearing short Sleeved top underneath.Always great prices from Amazon!

Fantastic late Fall/early Winter jacket. I live in Montreal so it gets chilly, bought this as an in-between jacket. Probably good for 0-10 degrees Celsius, but guessing not below zero, unless you layer up. This is based on just wearing a long sleeve top underneath. Haven’t tried it in the colder temperatures yet. The collar is lined with a super soft material, softer than fleece. Super lightweight, breathable and comfortable. Jacket length hits at the hip and sleeves were perfect for me. Stitching pattern is slimming and flattering. Love this jacket!

It is good choice for very cold weather !!! Light weight n easy to care !!! Water repellant !!! The material is very soft !!! All in all I loved it !!!
