My brother makes a lot of muffins and I make a lot of cakes and let me check if this thing is coming so handy and it's even got a stand. I looked at the other products and this one is just fantastic I've used it a whole bunch actually. Stuff that I didn't even think I would use it for..now I'm like wow that comes in handy..

I purchased this to help me portion out liquids that I freeze for later use. For that purpose, it is just great. It is easy to use and clean. I have been very happy with the quality of the dispenser. However, I looked at reviews and thought it might be safe to use for portioning out caramel. It is hot but only 250 degrees F. It didn't work. Well, it kind of worked until the silicone plug came off. It didn't melt, but it was no longer a plug. It just floated in the caramel. I guess I'll have to purchase a much more expensive model if I want one to make candy with. If you aren't making candy, you will be very pleased with this model.

I first used this tool when I was working for a catering company making desserts for hundreds or even thousands of people. Portioning panna cotta, ganache, more fluid cake batters (my devil's food batter is quite runny), anything that is too thin for a piping bag works GREAT in this. The spring grip is easy to use and doesn't give you a hand cramp, and the little plunger really does prevent drips--it's like magic. I also use the stand piece for holding piping bags up for filling them--it's the perfect size for large piping bags.

The handle design is a very thin gauge of sheet metal, but I assume it should work. But what really doesn't impress me here is the stopper design. While it does work great for starting/stopping flow of fluids, I'd like to be able to unhook the stopper from the thumb lever in order to wash it. With the way it's set up, one can either unscrew it with a screwdriver to get at the stopper, or bend the hook to facilitate it. While I am handy with pliers, I would rather that the manufacturer had set the angle so that I don't need to do this in order to be able to remove the stopper to wash batter off of it.

I bought this for when we camp in our RV. I bring my waffle iron along and hate the mess it makes and having to clean it up when we cook outside. This dispenser was awesome for a no mess breakfast. I would probably soak it in hot water a bit before trying to wash it next time, as there are some little parts that the batter can get stuck to. Overall, I didn't think it was bad at all. Rather than transport this one back and forth between the RV and our home, I'll probably buy another one to keep at home. It was so nice to use that I may actually be inspired to make some cupcakes soon.

I use this pancake pourer for making candles. I love how easy it is to use, and it doesn't leak at all. So, unless I use it recklessly, this is a no-mess method of pouring! It's been a game changer for me, and I'll definitely get some more in the future. I have another one of a different brand, and I find that this one is more stable and easy to use. I recommend this product.

This is very sturdy, and makes pancakes or filling my butter tarts a snap! Easy cleanup if rinsed right away. The clamp is very strong. I really like the stand that comes with it.
