SINGER Push-in LED Light Bulb for Sewing Machines

this bulb is a game changer. I was sewing on a dark color and was having a difficult time even with the led strip of lights that attach to the sewing machine. I love the brightness and can easily see what I'm sewing. the bulb does not give off the fake light that hurts the eyes. I had an easier time changing this bulb because it's slimmer and I'm able to fit my fingers into the opening. I have a Pfaff 7570. I highly recommend it for anyone who sews.

Would not fit in all the way in on my old 15-91. I used a drill to shave just a little off the edge top of socket. Use a file Dremel tool whatever. Yours may fit without doing anything.

Purchased this bulb as a replacement for the old non-LED bulb in my Singer 6235. Fits perfectly fine without modification. Does get warm and I would not use this bulb exposed, but it is significantly less hot than the original bulb and seems a good amount brighter. Color temperature also seems similar to original bulb.

The purpose of this review is to advise owners of old Singer models that this bulb does not fit or work. I’m going to say it is bright and lasts long because it is supposed to.

I wasn't even sure you could get an LED push-in lightbulb for a 54 year old sewing machine, but this one is working. So far so good! LED spectrum light is a bit better than the incandescent type bulb traditionally used. And it hasn't put out the sort of heat the older bulb did. I hope it lasts but I've flagged this order in case this sort of bulb will need more frequent replacement. Arrived on time, undamaged in light packaging.

So I have a 500a to 1961 singer and it doesn’t have the shoulder on it like this LED bulb so I have a Dremel and a rotary tool and I ground off part of the shoulder filed down the contacts and it barely clicks in and use a little it’s bulk grease or silicon Lubricant so fitment would be a little questionable for this bulb because older bulbs don’t have that shoulder.

after going through many similar style bulbs, which would burn out after a minute of use, yes they were 120v, singer brand came to the rescue, you get what you pay for and sometimes you need to shop brand name for something of quality

I bought one to replace the bulb of my Singer 620. It will slide in, but won’t latch. Turns out that the base of the LED bulb is 1 millimeter shorter than the original bulb’s. The only way I’ve managed to make it fit was to sand off a couple of milimeters off the socket’s edge, using a dremel. I thought it would fit, since it’s from Singer. I guess I was wrong.
