No butts about it, totally fun puzzle!
This Flame Tree Puzzle (made in UK) is an exceptional quality puzzle of Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. The puzzle pieces are well made of a paper board that is very hard with a low glare surface. They came in a plastic bag that was devoid of any paper residue frequenty seen in other puzzles. The puzzle pieces assembled snug and took apart nicely without worry of bending them. All the pieces have a similar shape but are Not identical. We were able to sort the pieces into 8 colors. Totally fun puzzle, even more fun, was looking at the assembled puzzle. Hint: take the puzzle box to a copier and make a picture for each person, no need to handle the box. We highly recommend this puzzle. Some of the poor reviews were totally unwarranted."To understand Hieronymus Bosch's works is to describe the indescribable and to decipher the indecipherable - an exercise in madness".

Incredibly fun puzzle!
This puzzle was incredibly fun to put together! My wife and I typically refer to pieces based on shape “man with a big foot”, “ninja star”, “dog with small ear”, etc.; however, with this puzzle, it wasn’t unusual to say “I have a butt piece” because the piece had several butts on it. Puzzle pieces were of decent quality. I highly recommend this puzzle to anyone who has a sense of humor or wonder about what Bosch was thinking as he painted this masterpiece.

Very difficult
Puzzle definitely not for novices. A lot of fun figuring out strategy and doing it.Negative: Many pieces not completely cut through.

Birds, Butts, and Bouquets
When you are working on a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle of Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, you notice and appreciate every detail. The hula hoop on the Capsela castle in the corner. ManBearPig and MolluskWeaselDeer. The coy expression on butt-flower-man's face.My only complaint here is that the pieces are all the same shape, but it was fun to do regardless. I'm hoping someone creates puzzles for the remaining two parts of the triptych. I can only imagine what discoveries await on a close examination of that third panel.

A great puzzle. The accurate image of the finished piece is on the back of the box. I found it to be a fun challenge

DECEPTIVE
Puzzle is beautiful , but the manufacturer has purposely made it very confusing. #1 Image on BOX ( only image given) is a SQUARE, Puzzle is actually a RECTANGLE . This makes 2" on each side of box image irrelevant & confusing since they are not on the puzzle. Image on box is cut off top & bottom !' each on the image on puzzle. To add to the confusion Puzzle Logo on box covers o large area on the left top of puzzle. I finished , but it was a test . Also 8 puzzle pieces were missing, just to make it more fun. Obviouslythe manufacturer just dosen't care.

Extremely difficult and confusing!
There is no additional picture of the puzzle inside the box like you get with most puzzles. This is an important issue as the only picture you have to work with is the box top which does not match the actual puzzle! Once we figured this out we actually had to draw lines on the box top to coincide as best we could with where the puzzle sides actually started. This worked on the sides but the top and bottom of the box picture are cut off so you have no clue as to what is missing. A large 1000 piece puzzle label also obscures some of the picture on the box. This puzzle is expensive and unfortunately not worth the money. We love to complete hard puzzles but this one Has become an unhappy chore that is far from enjoyable.
