RepRap Champion Aluminum Anodized Heated Build Plate Full kit for RepRap 3D Printer

The aluminum plate is great but the heater sucks. Dont buy with the heater. I ended up getting the 200 watt 12v with 3m self adhesive and wow it gets to 110c in 4 min. The one that comes witb this bed barley gets to 105c after 25 min.

I like this a lot. I don't even use glass anymore, I just put Kapton tape on the surface of the metal and then print directly to that. Very happy with the purchase and wish my printer came with this thing in the first place.The only downside to this kit is that it doesn't come with M2 screws to mount the heating cables to the bed with. Kinda a downer but hey, more soldering practice.

Aluminum plate is flat and works as expected together with MK2B PCB heated bed. Assembly was relatively fast, I solder power wires tothe MK2B PCB and attached thermistor with two strips of kapton tape in between MK2B and aluminum plate. I also cut silicone rubber hose onto pieces 9mm long, approximately, to use them as adjustable height spacers.

Extremely sturdy and well made. Very glad I added this to my printer. Although I have to wonder if some of the heat is being lost through the bed or if the bed has to work extra hard to heat the metal plate also, thus slowing my heat rate.I'm no thermodynamics expert, but I'm very happy with the bed, its design and the framework. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a 3d printer wanting to upgrade.

Purchased this for a new Prusa build. It arrived quickly and as described. I have been using it for about a month and very happy with it.
