Steel Target Stand Fits IDPA & IPSC Targets 24" & 18"

This is the ideal stand in my opinion. It's small enough to transport easily. Well made. Uses easy to get and inexpensive wood posts. The thumb screws added to the design hold the wood nicely. Just add some 1x2 (actual dimension) wood, some extra large binder clips and some targets and your set. I like that the wood is expendable should you hit it with a few rounds. Add some 24" or 18" wide cardboard and you can use some smaller stick-on targets.It just gets the job done. Isn't expensive and it breaks down for transport. What's not to like. Mine arrived in one week. Great job by Custom Gates.Edit: One suggestion that may be helpful. The thin stakes that come with the unit are ok for most days, but in any wind more than say..6 mph.. you may have an issue with your stakes coming out of the ground. I'd suggest using thicker stake, more like long canopy stakes. For even more stability in the wind, since the base bars are hollow, you could easily insert some dowels to extend them if you were dealing with a lot of wind. Essentially, giving you a large base. Still, this is a great stand. Haven't seen anything I like better.

I ordered this on 5/22, but said it would not arrive until June 5-13. That seemed like a long time, but I was ok with it, since I wasn't planning on using it right away. Imagine my surprise when it showed up on 5/25. Built well and the thumb screws hold the 1x2's in securely. It does what it's supposed to do.

4 out of 5 starsHaven't used this yet, but the concept is good. It was stated that this would come with both stakes and thumbscrews....It did not. I work in construction...Nuclear Power plants, and such. While I do not weld, welders are constantly assisting me. That being said, I felt the welds appear weak... Welder, learn to"walk the cup".

I am an NRA and USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor. I also teach Texas LTC classes. I ordered one of these a while back to use in my firearms training classes. It was shipped very quickly and well packaged. I came back today to order several more. Great product.

For the price this is a decent stand. It's well enough made and it was everything I expected. Not heavy so you need to put a rock on it or steak it down with the included steaks (if it's windy). The stand is wide and long enough to be stable if it's not gusty out. No complains other than the shipping price. I'd be happier to see it be $40 on Prime, as opposed to $30, plus $15 shipping.

I purchased some stands a while back and just bought two more. These stands are very well built and easy to transport. Some cheap 1x2s, a staple gun and targets are all you need. I use these in all my firearms classes because they are easy to set up and move into different configurations. The ability to use 18" and 24" targets gives even more variety in how I set up my courses of fire.

Fast shipping too. The stands are a great deal for the price and are solif built. These should serve many years of shooting drills.

This stand is exactly as advertised, two of my friends liked it so much that they have also ordered them. It sets up quickly and is easy to move for different range And distance. The screws hold the uprights tightly. If your looking for a target stand, I would highly recommend this one.
