Stride Rite Taye 2.0: Small but Mighty First Walker Shoes
These little shoes are packed with quality and have been such a great buy for my almost-7-month-old. She just started using her walker, so I wanted something to support her ankles and help encourage proper form. While she can’t exactly tell me how they feel, I’ve noticed her standing straighter and actually moving her walker forward since she’s been wearing them—huge win!Her feet are pretty average in width, but I love that these shoes also work for wider feet by simply removing the insert. The Velcro strap makes it easy to adjust the fit just right, and they’re super easy to put on and take off (a big deal with wiggly little feet). They’re also a breeze to clean, and while they may not be the most stylish, honestly anything this tiny looks adorable anyway. Judging by how happy and confident she seems in them, I’d say they’re comfortable too. Highly recommend for any little one starting to stand or explore!

Buy it!!!!
This is great for first time walkers or those toddlers still learning to walk. Easy to put on but the velcro keeps the shoe secure. No issues with slipping off. It’s soft and flexible which makes it comfortable. We tried other shoes, but those were often too thin and stiff making it difficult for our little one to walk. I have bought this four times! My daughter started with size 3 and I just bought her size 6 shoes. Size 5 is started to become too small.Overall: We love it!

Stride Rite withstands the test of time and active toddlers
Perfect first walking shoes. Stride rite was a staple shoes brand for me growing up and the quality is still there now that I have my own child. She got great use out of these. They are durable to withstand my active and fearless baby girl lol. No issues with sliding because the grip is great. She's outgrown this first pair now sadly (they grow so fast). but I'd love to get her some more. They are still in great shape so ill likely just pass them down to one of my mom friends.

Holds up well to rough & tumble, surface cleanable. Great fit. Super comfortable.
These fit so well! Wide enough toe box to keep little feet comfortable. Stood up well to intense play time and daycare. Molds easily to foot. White coordinates with everything. Velcro is easy on, easy off - very easy to get their feet in. Wish they made these in bigger sizes! So sad my tot outgrew the largest size.

Super comfy and cute
The best shoes I ever bought for my baby! Very durable, will last forever. So cute! Get some many compliments on them. Also, they size up with my baby. I was able to take out the insert to make some more room. Would absolutely buy again if I need to!

The BEST shoe for a toddler and new walker
Truly the best first shoe. My baby LOVES her shoes and brings them to me for me to put on her. There is memory foam padding that can be taken out if they have a wide foot. I just used the stride rite website for sizing instructions to figure out if mine needed the insert or not. They are leather and they clean up really easily with soap and warm water, and seem to keep her feet dry with a decent amount of water exposure. Stitching is high quality and the Velcro is durable and withstands frequent use. I will be buying these in bigger sizes for the future. They look cute with dressy and casual outfits. They do not impede her ability to walk at all and give her the traction she needs to walk on all surfaces without falling. they're so easy to put on and take off and seem genuinely comfortable for them to wear.

Good for beginner walkers!
My baby is learning to walk and these shoes and very comfortable and supportive! He is still getting used to wearing shoes to begin with, but these have been his favorite and the easiest for him to practice in

Great shoe that could use a longer strap
Cute and, from what I can tell without having worn them, performing well on the field. They are made from the kind of material you would expect in an adult sneaker meant to withstand high activity. Only thing that annoys me is that the Velcro straps are so short. When I bought them for my baby, she was just outgrowing her old shoes so I figured the next size up would be a little big on her initially. Even with that I feel like I have to press the tongue down and squeeze the sides of the shoe together just to get the strap to cover all of its velcro counterpart on the body of the shoe. Seems like when her feet fill out the shoe properly it’ll look like they’re too small for her if you judge just by the strap.Bottom line though, a wide toe box is the most important thing in an everyday baby shoe and I don’t mind the little investment, even with certain aesthetic shortcomings.
