Lightweight shaft and grip promotes faster speed for more distance.

Love this driver
Love this driver. I was able to get it when Amazon had them for only $56. I am a beginner golfer and have yet to break 100. I have tried several different drivers, and no matter what I sliced them like crazy. I saw this one with senior shafts and the 13 HL loft and took a chance on it. My clubhead speed is below 85, so the high loft and senior shafts fit me well. First time out with it and I hit it very good. My ball would start out maybe 5 yards left of my aim point and it would baby fade right into the middle of the fairway.First time I was only averaging 150-160 yards, now I am back up to 175-180. My normal is about 200 yards, but 1/2 of the time they were in the right side rough or worst in the trees, but not with this driver-straight down the middle :). I did lose a little distance, but I will gladly take a 15-20 yard loss for being in the middle of the fairway all the time now. I have played 4 rounds with it so far, and have only sliced 1 time with it.

So-so
I have a Taylormade 360. I've tried a couple flavors of the R7, but always came back to the 360. Read about this club, it sounded intriguing, price was right. While it actually weighs a few grams less than the 360, it swings "heavier" (perhaps a higher moment of inertia). This club seems to be a little more forgiving of mishits than the 360 (which could also be related to the higher moment of inertia), but the really weird thing is that I hit this club way higher. Not, just a little higher, but way higher. Both are 9.5 deg loft. For middle distances, I don't have to swing as hard with this club to achieve the same distance, however, the 360 still out-drives when I am looking to crush it (probably related to the lower ball trajectory). This is only after one trip to the range and a couple rounds, so perhaps my opinion will change after I've gotten a little more familiar with it, but for now, the 360 is still my club of choice.P.S. My girlfriend likes it (helps her get it in the air with more distance for the same swing), so it's not a total loss.

Misrepresentation of Product
All diagrams, photos and comments supplied by the vender on the Amazon website indicated that this club had a adjustable head, when in fact, it was a fixed head. I accepted it because I had already returned one and this retailer gave me a additional $30. off of the price. Once I got past the misrepresentation of the product I was satisfied with the one I ended up buying.

Not what I expected
I should have read more reviews before I bought the club. This is for a bonded driver meaning it is not adjustable, I didn't know that's what bonded meant. The one in the photo is the adjustable type so I figured that was what I was buying. I see a lot of other reviews are saying the same thing. Good quality product overall, took it to the range and it preformed fine. It does show that it was assembled in Taiwan and there is some controversy on whether or not its authentic from what I read in other reviews.

Club Made in China
The club was labeled with three labels "head made in China", "shaft made in China", and "assembled in China." I called Taylormade customer service, they said Taylormade componenets are made in China but all Taylormade clubs are assembled in Carlsbad, CA. They advised me that there are counterfeit clubs out there. They also suggested I mail it to them because they would like to see it. I suspect I would never have seen it again if I sent it to Taylormade so I didn't. I'm using it, what I can tell you is the first bucket of balles I hit with it marked up the face. On the plus side I can drive a ball a long way with it but I really hate the idea that I may have a knockoff club. I never suspected that could happen with an Amazon purchase.

Was this an experienced club?
My only complaint is the club seemed to have been hit previously, maybe it was a demo club or something, it would have been nice to know prior to purchase as it was a gift. Regardless, the receiver is happy with the club so far.

Love this Driver
This Driver was far superior To my Ping g15 (which surprised me big time) I gained about 30 to 40 more yards a drive with this club, also I have had some problems with a slice, and since this is adjustable and comes with the tool, I changed it to more of a draw, and now am hitting my drives straighter than ever! For the price, I would recommend this to anyone who is having troubles slicing or hooking their shots, and want more distance off the tee!

Big improvement over my previous Callaway driver... ...
Big improvement over my previous Callaway driver...much more forgiving Only reason not a "5" is there is an almost imperceptible dimple on the top of the club. May be a slight imperfection. Doesn't affect the performance in any way.
