I have only used on plywood so far, so I can only speak to that. I can say that it cuts plywood like butter.

After working with other brands of bits, Whiteside is on a whole new level. This is a fine example of getting what you pay for. Quality, accuracy and precision. I will never go back to big box store bits. Thank you Whiteside.

I use it in a palm size router for flush trimming wood and wood veneer. The cutting edge is sharp. There's minimal or no tear out.

Cutting diameter is 0.007" smaller than the bearing, which means it will not produce a flush cut. Sending it back.

So far Whiteside never disappointed me, great router bit. Works really well and results are clean
