Apologies. Having written re clock failing to work. I tried a different sized battery and clock is up and running, Looks so good. So my error I I have eyesight issues and fail to see small and tiny writing on batteries and I will buy another larger insert from Dans but for now all is fine with the clock. I sincerely hope my last comment re First time user and clock not working etc affects their sales. No issues at all and the fault was entirely mine and nothing to do with the DANS CLOCK COMPANY.Pleased with this Company as I have been searching for a clock insert for about one year, so now I have located this one I shall remain a customer. Only drawback is the different sized battery (LR1). Otherwise an excellent clock easily fitted to replace a terminally damaged wind up unit. Thoroughly recommended.

This insert was a perfect replacement for a battery operated clock movement which had broken some years ago. I had looked previously for a suitable replacement, but without success. The difficulty had been in finding a clock unit with an 80mm+ face, but to fit into a narrower 60mm hole. This unit was ideal.

it fits in the hole ok...but looses about 10 mins per day...i have changed the battery but still will not keep time

Very happy with the clock and fitted the existing case well replacing the old timepiece easily.

As described and delivered on time. Back was coming away from the bezel and needed a dab of glue to secure it.
