Outstanding book on Leather/Kink history and establishing relationships
Excellently edited collection of Guy Baldwin's writings -- outstanding for anyone looking to understand history of and and a particular view of the leather and kink community all with a deep focus on establishing relationships in this community. Somewhat dated in perspective of some writings, but the essential truths are still very relevant. Guy suggests a very inclusive, safe, and personal approach for relationships. Take the parts that make sense for you. Would have loved to take him to lunch or dinner!

Guy Baldwin's book contains so much practical guidance for those into spicy sex that it is hard to encompass them all. Every time I read this compendium of his Drummer articles, I draw more wisdom from it. Guy was so far ahead of his time when he wrote these for Drummer many years ago, that the pieces still stand out as cutting edge.

Wonderful collection of articles.
Like they say it is a collection of articles, which help to cover a wide range of things, and I am enjoying learning as I reading.

A must-read for all Leatherfolk
This is simply the best book on Leather/Fetish/BDSM that I have ever read. Guy Baldwin's insights have been life-changing for me, in particular the essay entitled "Fear is the Enemy." This is not a how-to book; it is more of a why-we-do-what-we-do book...and how what we do can change and transform us. Thank you, Guy Baldwin.

Relationship Advice for People into S&M and D/s
Mr. Baldwin's book is a wonderful collection of very well written and accessible essays covering the interpersonal aspects of the S&M scene. Guy Baldwin is both a psychotherapist and an experienced S&M practitioner. While the essays were originally written for a gay male S&M magazine, it's easy for women and heterosexual men to read past the pronouns and benefit from his insights. It's one of those books you want to share with your (kinky) friends as soon as you've finished reading it.

Not a Bally bavel in sight!
I was shocked to say the least. Not one mention of bavels. I would have thought that I, Mistress Saskiella of Roxburghshire, would have had a mention also.Damn you people. Damn your foolish ways.
